[PS3 News] In Game XMB in 2.4 (((pops Champagne)))

How's that? Some of the features have already been seen in games on the PS3, like custom soundtracks.

And from what we've been told about the update, it actually brings something new to the table.

Seriously though, I have wanted this since day one! I cannot believe it has taken this long. I can't believe I'm getting excited to wait again for this crap. Just friggin' release it already! I wanna chat with my buddies when playing Rock Band together. I wanna chat with my buddy when he comes online and wants me to play Warhawk so i can tell him that I can't because I am playing PixelJunk Monsters Encore with my lady (okay, its my wife). I want to be able to rock out to my own music in any game I want to. Although, it won't be that many games, original soundtracks are great for most games. ANyway, let's get this ship sailing, huh, SOny? Huh? HUH?!?!

Don't make what you pay for out to be more than it really is. P2P play. in-game messaging and soundtracks are free features.
