I'm really not a big fan of a friends list fulkl of people I really don't know logging in and out all of the time. Its been since Socom that I actually cared about gaming with people I have met over the interweb.

Im a gold member and now I actually feel ripped off I spent 50$ on a service that is now on par with a free service :(

Not that allLive fees are wrong, we all know they've had a lot of these features since day one. That, to me, is worth the fee. But once PS3 has 99% of the great XBL features, that fee starts to weigh in a lot heavier and the value goes bye-bye.

All it is is Sony trying to play catch up with features Xbox 360 already does and has done for a long time. No big deal. Besides the PS3 is a worthless console anyway. Anyone wanna buy mine?

Perhaps because more of my friends own a 360 then a PS3? Perhaps because I enjoy playing 360 more then I do PS3? Perhaps because I ******* HATE preinstalling my games before playing them giving me no choice but ot game on my 360 more? Perhaps I could give a rat's ass for the PS3? Those are just a few reasons.

Not to piss on your parade, but I don't think it's likely.
Mainly because of the last point in the rumored feature list. It would require to much harddrive access and cpu power to capture the video output realtime. I know you can do it on pc, but this is a console we are talking about. Games are made with a set piece of hardware and hardware accesability in mind, and suddently taking some of this away would cripple the games.

The news about uploading videos to youtube, would more likely be some along the lines of uploading videos like in Halo3. And then the game would have to be specially programmed to capture the "video" itself.
