PS3 = Problems solved; Xbox360 = problems remain

Anyone else see the irony in the fact PS3 owners spent years calling the 360 a shooter box and how shooters were for the pc and how 360 was a poor mans pc...and yet now their only great game is a shooter?Bromz

360 got criticised by cows because it had too many FPS shooters. The best game on Ps3 is not a FPS, its TPS. Big difference.

Anyways, my only problem with 360 is the RROD, but i give credit that ps3 finally has proven itself. Question is...when is the next AAA/AAAA game coming for ps3?

June is a very good month for the PS3. Let's take this moment to give credits where credits are due.

PS3 PROBLEMS:

Lack of killer exclusive...Solved. IGN gives Metal Gear Solid 4 perfect scores on all categories. Closing Comments:
Is it possible to give a game an 11? If so, this would be the game that would merit that score.

Consoles not selling well...Solved. The PS3 is now outselling the 360 in America, Europe, Japan, and Pluto. See this month's NPD numbers.

Lack of rumble...solved. The PS3 controller now has motion control and rumble.

Lack of DTS-HD Master audio...solved. The PS3 now produces the best sound in games and movies.

Negative Press...sovled. The PS3 is by far the most improved console this generation. The press is starting to give credits where credits are due. LIVE fees...not sovled. Still expensive considering every gaming platform, the PC, the Mac, PS2, PS3, Wii, DS, PSP all allow free multiplayer gaming over the internet. LIVE fees make the 360 the most expensive console to own out of all consoles on the market today.

XBox 360 Reliability: M$ has already worked on eliminated the RROD issue. They already changed the CPU chip to a cooler chip and added a cooper heat sink. The new Jasper coming in Sept with use a cooler GPU which should get rid of the RROD forever. Please do some research next time.

The only real reason to have Blu-Ray in a game console is for the storage capacity. Most like M$ will add it in their next console. The real difference is the NEW Blu-Ray Player will probably be 2-3x's faster then the one in the PS3, so load times on the new XBox will be much fast then the PS3 and it will be "future proof" as you say. Right now Blu-Ray isn't really needed. For the next-gen, it will or something similar to it. So this isn't really a problem either. :P

More bang for the buck. Last I checked the XBox 360 was $279, had more quality games to play and upscaled all DVD's to 1080p on my T.V. That's a better deal then the $400 PS3 with no PS1/PS2 B/C and no DualShock or HDMI cable.

The $279 is not more bang for a buck.No hd cables,no harddrive required for xboxlive,no wi-fi or enthernet, no charge kit, and is wired .Most games can't even go up to 1080 on a hdtv.The ps3 has most of those things out of the box.I would tell you how much your wrong about the rest of your post but, I don't feel like writing more.

Games such as GTA4 actually plays better on the PS3 according to Gamepro because the PS3 uses dedicated servers. Also, PSN is constantly being improved, and soon with HOME and in-game XMB, the PS3's value as a gaming system only gets better.

Fifth point: The 360 came out 1 year earlier than the PS3, of course it's gonna have a larger install base. Remember Microsoft expecting to have a 10 million head start? Well, they never got it.
