PS3 Tanking in Europe (New Report)

You're starting to make me think you're a bit biased.  What does the Wii's success have to do with anything?  Because one console doesn't sell as fast as another it's a failure, that illogical.  Especially considering that console is more than double it's price. 

Its a failure compared to the other one, GCN was a failure compared to PS2 because it didn;t sell as much 

No one was talking about it compared to the other.  The PS3's success shouldn't be determined by the Wii's standards.  I could call the 360 a failure for not selling as fast as the PS2, but the fact is it's selling fine. The GC wasn't a failure, it had it's setbacks but it wasn't a failure.  I like to be rational, and i'm never quick to call names, but you're sounding kind of ignorant.  Oh wait, I forgot I was on System Wars.

I don't care what you call it - Sony was revising it's shipped figure, not sold.

Link me to NDP figures that prove it means SOLD, because Sony has repeatedly labeled shipped as sold in the past, as does Nintendo, as does MS.

Wow self-ownage approved.   You just pointed out that the PS3 is doing even worse than we had hoped.  Its gone crashing from around 165k first week 25-35k second week 17k 3rd week (Outsold by the Wii) to about 9k in the past week.....(In the UK)

Oh, dear god are you serious?!  This is why I don't come here.  There were only around 200,000 thousand consoles released there.  I hope you're good at math.

One more thing - if they'd sold 80% of units then WHY THE HELL would UK retailers and other retailers in Europe be slashing prices inside a month of it's release.

Sometimes one has to rely on their own common sense and do some investigative journalism themselves.

These price are happening in 2 stores in the UK. There are 20 other countries.

This forum is about comparing the consoles with one another, PS2 and 360 are different genrations, Wii and PS3 are the same gen, which is why you can compare them
