ME was a extremelly boring game IMO, only the fan boys over hyped it like it was the most amazing experience. I had more fun playing wii sports then that

That's all your going to say? Everything in me2 adds on to the ME universe. You complaining about not seeing the full story when you half way through it. All 3 game present the full story and we will see it in a year and a half. Are you really saying that skipping the middle of the story and just seeing the end will give you the full understanding of everything that happened?

Most likely, BioWare can't afford to make a game that's is completely not playable if you didn't play the other two, that's one of the reasons of why the decisions in ME1 carried less impact on the story of ME2. And besides the reapers are still coming, that's what ME3 its going to focus, I'm sure there will be past references, but not as much as we believe there will be. The same thing happened with ME1.

If were talking about story allow. ME1 main story revolved around feros , Norveria and Virmire. Also the you were hunting down Seran. Though choices at though 3 places revolved around how you did it. If you kill the colony on feros, did you kill the richni queen, and who survived Virmire. Those were carries over to ME2 through cameos, missions, and how you are treated. Now in ME2 you ether lose a misson and seen more ruthless because of what you did on Feros, you lose info and a future Allie,and your treat differently on the Krogan Home world based on what happened. You can say what you want about the Human Virmire surviver but the other main story based option have an impact. Killing off All of Feros has people fear you more, killing Wrex makes Tuchanca harder to crack, and you never know how far the reapers reach ever was. Even killing the council has a major impact. Sure humans are hated regardless but if you have a full human council, the Asari pulled out Politically and defensively and the Turian's start building up arms to start a massive war and they arn't making it to fight the reapers and are angrily look to the humans. If the council lives, human are still hated but are still respected, with the council dead it almost feel that some want to almost spit in my face. In ME2, we are only given the sine that a major storm is building though we are not give a major impact for are choices.....but we're only half way though the story so why would we see full impact of are actions half way though the story?

how is this helping ps3 owners? most people can't play them on the pc unless they have some sort of graphics card to play it, or they can play it on the 360...

Does w/ mean with? Wouldn't it be easier to subsitute "PS3 users" w/ Cows and w/ with, with? I'm missing out on MGS4 too. Maybe I should pick it up the highest I can get for is $30.

I'm enjoying it on my PC, haven't purchased the 2nd one though. Couldn't pass up Mass Effect for $5 during Steam's Holiday Sale.

How, exactly, do you know it won't happen? As I asked earlier, what EA property has been on the 360 but not the PS3?

Well, seeing as the developers have come out right and said "no, its a microsoft exclusive" meaning Windows and 360 only, i would have to take their word for it. On top of the fact that MS has partial ownership through their contract on the entire trilogy. That pretty much sums it up right there fella.

I have a strong feeling that ME and ME2 will come out as a 1 disc "Ultimate" edition for PS3. Bioware consistantly says that ME and ME2 are for Xbox360 and PC only. However, people forget that, at one point, Bioware also said ME was for 360 only. Now it is for both PC and 360. I find the fact that people are saying that it would never happen for PS3 somewhat is somewhat biased as both Bioshock and now GTA:EFLC are coming to PS3 as did Ninja Gaiden. That being said, I wasn't raging when FFXIII was "ported" to the 360. I feel that, for those that can't afford a gaming PC or and additional console, for whatever reason, should be able to enjoy a game on any console of thier choice. :)

I just picked the game up and I have to say that it is one of the most enjoyable games I've played in a while.

I'm sure they won't be sheading too many tears since they are probably going to be playing GOWIII next week. Also they are probably playing Heavy Rain or Uncharted 2 (I finally just played this game a couple weeks ago). Also I think PS3 users are missing out playing ME2 just like X360 users are missing out on Demon's Souls.

Well then they are still missing out on Demon's Souls or even Heavy Rain.........not to mention GOW3 coming out next week. I can understand the Lems trying to flaunt ME2 in front of Cows faces but lets not forget the fact that the PS3 has been skull ****** the X360 for over a year now.

TC, you knew as soon as you made this topic that the cows would come en masse to tell you that they played ME2 on the PC. It is common knowledge that all PS3 owners also have a high end PC. :roll:

I am a PS3 user and i'm not missing Mass Effect 2. Just finished it! What a masterpiece.Wassmansdorff

AMEN to that brother. except i liked the first one a lot better.
