PS3s superior Technology will shine in 09

In 09 we are going to see some of the most graphicly WOW factor games to date. No we wont be seeing them on 360 but the superior PS3. it is finally Sonys turn to shine and put them selfs were they belong #1. With games like KZ2, Uncharted 2 , GOW3, Heavy Rain PS3 is going to put its self in a class of its own why others play catch up. This is where the superior technology in the PS3 will finally pay off.djsifer01

We already know that KZ2 will look great, but it isn't WOW compared to what is already out. And we have already seen the trailers for Uncharted 1.5 and GoW 2.5 and they aren't any more improvement than GeOW 1.5 was over GeOW.

WOW, what are the CONSOLE titles that match killzone 2, visually? (exclusive ones) Your calling Uncharted 2, 1.5...yet it clearly looks better and its ONLY early footage of the title, same goes with Gow3. Please get some knowledge before claiming anything. gsusEyezonmii

uhh, I dont think GOW3 will be that technically stunning, at least not enough for it to showup PS3's 'true capabilities'. Ninja Blade will look way better. Although that says nothing about their respective gameplay. But for true GFX king contenders PS3's still got Killzone 2, Uncharted 2, and Heavy Rain.

Its not to say 360 has nothing though. StarOcean 4 looks freakin amazing. Style wise, I dont think the PS3 has an answer to 360's exclusive Cry on, MistWalkers BTW.

You are missing the point. I personally believe that Uncharted is the best looking PS3 game and the best overall. And I am expecting KZ2 to be a bit better than that when released. And I am expecting 360 games to improve. And I am expecting PS3 games to improve. And I imagine both Uncharted 2 and GoW 3 will look better.

BUT...none of it is a significant leap. None of it is WOW. We have already seen the majority of what we are going to see with the consoles. I imagine my PS3 will see some games slightly better looking than my 360 games. But it is a marginal difference. Fanboys are busy arguing over an extra pixel here, better lighting there, a bit more texture, slightly better character models. It's laughable.

Can you honestly say that Uncharted 2 looks so much better than Uncharted 1? R2 and Motorstorm2 are already 2nd gen games by the best teams with plenty of Sony support. As is the trailer for Uncharted 2. And 4 years later with the best Sony has we have KZ2. All of which look great, none of which are WOW compared to the best 360 games. It isn't a different order of magnitude like with the Wii.

Civ Revolution was not a port as well, but this is the first proper 360 exclusive strategy, apart from many ports of RTS on 360 not available on any other console.Salt_The_Fries

but there is a very large difference between TBS and RTS. TBS have been proven to be do-able on consoles for ages, Civ Rev mearly expanded it into a, far lesser, clone of the true CIV games
