It is. People are bringing up the value because of the deals but some of us just want to play online. So frustrating.

That's pretty much my boat I don't care about the deals and prefer physical copies even without my data cap, lucky not everything will be behind a PSN+ pay wall and will be left up to the publishers which means just EA and probably Activision. It will be interesting to see what publishers do especially those in direct competition with other similar games coming out as most people will pick the one without the PSN pay wall.

I sure hope so. Activision and EA will def use PSN+ along with Sony's companies.

The only people who are voting that they wont get PSN+ are the people who made a ridiculous fuss about XBL. But they'll be getting it anyway.

I don't use online that much to justify paying for it and if there is a game I'll definitely know I'll want to play online like Dark Souls and they decide to put it behind a PSN pay wall I'll just get the PC version.

Where are all the people who claimed "You already pay for internet, Microsoft is ripping you off!" They seem to be pretty quiet about online play being restricted to paying members.

Well, what choice does anyone have? The greedy creeps at Microsoft have made online console gaming a subscription model so now we have no choice but to pay for the garbage Internet tollbooth fee. Doesn't mean we have to LIE and say we like it like the BS Xbox Live freaks do.

Yeah I'm not happy about it at all and I hope most games won't be behind a PSN pay wall.

Whenever I decide to get a PS4, I'll pick up PSN+. I don't care about multiplayer. I just like the benefits from the service.

I couldn't' care less about cross-game chat, and did they really say that about servers being up indefinitely? Either way it's not worth the cost to me

Never had a need for cross game chat and never had a problem with servers closing down because I don't buy EA games anymore.

Most likely this gen ill go with PS4 but i refuse to pay for PSN+ ... The good thing is i want PS4 for mostly single player games so that wont affect me really bad

The only really superior online service i know called PC GAMING!So my multis goin PC all the way. There is nothing better than PC when it comes to Online gaming. Not even close and its free.

It will be interesting to see what and what they don't put behind a PSN+ pay wall since it will be left up to the publishers.

I subscribed last thursday, one of the better decisions ive made.. all these games to play. My subscription will still be there at ps4 launch :)campzor

Same here. I tried the three month version just to sample it, well it's the best decision I've made. I've already downloaded close to $150 worth of games and am plying the crap out of BF3 online at the moment. Awesome service and will definitely renew for a year when it's time. I used to be like the OP. Never wanted digital and only hard copies but PS+ changed my mine. I still get day one hard copies but others you just want to eventually want to play come to PS+ eventually and possibly for free!

I guess it never occurred to anyone Sony might be doing the old bait and switch, regardless not a fan of downloading games.

You get some games with it to play. Not to mention they're adding social stuff and whatnot, it costs money. These kind of things MS has been doing for years now, that's what you had to pay for. They need to stay profitable.

Depends on what/ how many multiplayer games they put behind the PSN+ pay wall. You want to get your full game you paid for than yes it is forced.

Pretty much this they should make a list of what will and will bot be behind a PSN+ paywall.

When I get my PS4 if enough of my friends have one, buy games I'm interested in and play online, I'll get it. All 3 will have to be satisfied though because otherwise, its a waste of my money given that the type of games I have on my PS3 are stuff I have no desire to really play online.
