I'm only getting a PS4, but I wouldn't call it perfect. Each platform has their pros and cons. Nintendo will eventually, one day in the future have great, compelling software for their machine. Microsoft will have some neat media partnerships I'm sure some people will like.

The ps3 60gig now that I think about it was the perfect system. Why because it plays most of the ps2/1 games in hi def.

I thought I had heard every dumb comment possible from Sony Fanboys, but this takes the cake. You forgot to add (more powerful last gen console), to your list.
For the love of all that is weird, why is there no appreciation for the PSX? That console went through a lot of conflicting emotions. I mean I didn't even know what it was but damn, that console was almost out of this world.
The PSX was alright. But it didn't have nearly as many classics as the PS2 had.
That, and it didn't do 3D very well. Normally graphics don't matter, but sometimes if a game has blatantly horrible graphics, it can take away from the immersion. PS2 graphics, on the other hand, are detailed enough.
I'll wait till mine gets to me before I make any assessment. The x1line up was better, imo. I have no doubt Sony will bring games, they never let me down on that. But try to take your mouth off of sony's pole for a minute tccainetao11
