PS4 has not won yet, launch exclusives will play a very MINOR role in choice.

the ps3 was a pretty big embarrassment to the playstation name. :(

hopefully ps4 will redeem the brand.

I don't see why people wouldn't count Uncharted and LBP. Both franchises have sold very well this generation. Not to mention a wide variety of exclusives can sell a system.

Exclusives don't matter? Nintendo has practically sustained themselves on first party exclusives for 30 years. And who came in first place last gen? There is no year headstart for Xbox this time around. If both consoles come out at the same price at the same time and one has exclusives and the other one doesn't which one is the better option?

Oh and if you actually think Xbox live is a selling point I've got news for you. It isn't 2005 anymore.

Agreed..Games sell gaming consoles..The PS3 got a lot of exclusive games and manage to beat the 360 and take 2nd place..If you think about it Sony PS3 was released 1 year after the 360 with a high price tag $599 and still manage to get on top the 360..The reason why is because of the PS3 first party exclusive games..I dont see M$ having a chance against Sony PS4 this gen with all the exclusive system seller games that  will be releasing, is going to attract a lot of people..MS will not have the advantage like last gen..
