PS4 now stands at the same level as PC, as master race

There's no such thing as two master races or members. A master race is called as such because there is one that does everything better than the others which is and always will be PC simply by the nature of the system

Plus why would cows want to be part of the master race when they spent all this gen giving out about PC users calling themselves that and being very vocal on how much they hated that elitism mentality

Why would it be the new master race member when it's STILL behind PC just as PS3 was behind PC before.

There's always been one master race and it's always been PC gamers. Don't try and nudge your way into the elite of gaming when you're still fighting for second best among the peasants in the dirt below us.

I appreciate your input, i didn't know that there was data available at Steam to check, even though the data isn't absolute because we have no idea how many people do not use Steam, but i think it's pretty close regardless.

We have already been over this and unless you watch your HDTV at the same kind of viewing distances as a child watches cartoons, you aren't going to see it. Sorry but most people don't sit 6 or less feet away from a 50 inch set which is what you have to do just for 1080p.

People are still on 1080p? You guys realize it's 2013 right? You should be doing 1440p minimum, 4K will be the standard very soon.

If you're a peasant it won't. But in 2 years, all the new hardware for enthuasists (New AMD/NVIDIA lines, New Intel CPU's) will make 60fps on 4k standard.

PC's run 1080p at 60-100 fps now-a-days. When 4k displays become common PS4 will be just as inferior as the PS3 and 360 are current gen.

I think it will be, in 5 years will be able to game at 4K with 60FPS on most high end hardware. Midrange stuff will be hitting 1600/1440p.

Console gamers before the PS4 announcement: "You can barely notice the difference between 720p and 1080p, who cares? You can't tell the difference between 30 FPS and 60 FPS either. Graphics aren't important, gameplay is."

Console gamers now: "1080p is AWESOME and look at those amazing NEXT-GEN graphics and at 60 FPS. So cool and smooth looking!"

PC gamers: "Welcome to 2007."

Lately all I have been seeing are pre-PS4 owners being graphic whores (an oxymoron) with Killzone SF. Do console gamers really think it's the apex of graphics? Do they not believe another PS4 game will surpass it in the future? I've seen it being called the "launch title graphics king". Is that even a thing? Is it that bad you have to sub-categorize it to bring it up to par?

That and bragging about online features PC had almost a decade ago.... SAD.

Agreed. Two £780 Titans are required and thats even before we include the price of a 4K monitor.

Wow...so sub 30fps on 900P is considered master race now? Wow....just wow. PC gamers are already getting a 120HZ 1200P daily. 1440P and 120 FPS is still rare and left only for the huge money burners.

It's a moot point, really, since both Battlefield 4 versions are upscaled to 1080p..

Native 1080p multiplats, like COD, will look far better on PS4...

It's certainly not the best 4K monitor, but even now we see $700 4K monitors. In a couple of years the prices are going to be even better.

PS4's GDDR5 for the CPU is a waste i.e. < 20 GB/s is LOL.
