Yeah but that doesn't change the fact that I don't need a xbone to play the "exclusive" games while I do need a PS4 to play its exclusives and that gives the edge to the PS4. In that case we are talking about the absolute exclusives which the SW board rules talk about because the absolute exclusives are really defining when deciding what type of device to acquire. In my case I have a PC so, viewing it from my context, a xbone is pretty irrelevant in that it provides no extra value unlike the PS4. In the end every person will have their own context to consider so it would be moot to discuss anything, I just see it as a fun discussion and not as something to take serious.

Lol, I'm not handing out strikes or something here, just pointing out that these days a lot of "exclusives" come to PC regardless of whether you are on PS or XBox consoles, and so the Rulebook added a guideline to address that. The argument about "well I don't need an X1/PS4 to play it" is fine as well, depending on the nature of the argument, but the fact is if you are stacking up a PS4 and X1 side-by-side and arguing which is better, then a game you can play on one and not the other - even if it's a "soft" or "console" exclusive - is still a relevant data point, as it speaks to something one system can offer that the other cannot

I liked the gameplay, didn't fall asleep during the videos (70 gig download) and the time traveling stuff is pretty interesting. Visually it's really blurry on Xbox, Remedy made another fancy renderer for the game and the game really looks like its running at 720p with heavy motion blur. It has some nice effects though.

Without proper 4K BD playback, it has become the upgrade nobody wanted. Couple with spotty and often unimpressive "Pro" upgrades to some of these games and you have a whole lot of meh.

Microsoft better take note to not make the same mistakes that Sony has here if they want Scorpio to have a better launch than the Pro has had.

I am wonder the same thing. I prefer gaming on console, so I will be happy to buy Scorpio and have the absolute best fucking graphics that consoles can put out. A win win for gamers.

That said, for productivity purposes, I just recently ordered the top-tier version of the Surface Book with Performance Base (Friday can't get here fast enough lol).. Sure, I'll be mostly using it as a productivity device but it can also run Xbox Play Anywhere games like Gears of War 4, Forza Horizon 3, Recore, and others at mid-range levels (hopefully 1080p/30fps).. My laptop will be used to extend and expand my Xbox gaming but my primary means of enjoying new titles will be my Xbox console.. The same holds true when I eventually pick up the new Surface Studio desktop PC.. Sure, both of those devices aren't super high-end dedicated gaming rigs, but even if they were, gaming on a 65" OLED 4K HDTV with HDR via Project Scorpio would still be my preferred method of gaming..

Cows need to stop hiding behind PC and realize the hilarious hypocrisy of implying that console gaming is moot if you own a gaming PC but, in the same breath, continue to hype the PS4 and PS4 Pro to the high heavens.. Did cows forget that the PS4 is a console too?.. Oh, I forgot, they'll keep pretending that they're still playing Bloodborne in order to justify the PS4's existence in the face of the almighty PC.. whatever, cows gonna cow..

@kingtito: To you. I still love the SEGA I knew. And play some of their series to this day....including new games. If only they'd do discs and not dl for the ones I like. As for Sony/MS.....I buy both. I play both. Sometimes I get one first....sometimes the other. Just depends on which console has the better specs for third party...that's the one I get first. Yes I did. I'm not arguing over which brand anyone should buy. That's their choice. I do call out PR and BS though. And if someone is posting untruths. If someone wants Nintendo....fine. Sony...fine. MS....fine. Not like I get paid by console sold. I don't get anything from those companies other than entertainment if they have the games. This gen the problem is MS is moving to PC as well which makes justification for the console harder. Unless one is strictly a console gamer that is. But if they have a decent PC and game on it....I said....use the PC.

You have never seem me praise any brand (other than SEGA that is) because I just haven't done it. Had the PS2 first.....the 360....the PS4. Bit I have the Xbox and the PS3 and plan on getting the One S soon. The PRO? Not sure yet. Nintendo's Switch is coming out and I'll be picking that one up. As for the Scorpio....not sure it'll be necessary either. Have to wait and see.

I'm up in the air about the Pro as well. I was planning on it at 1st but not sure now. The Scorpio is in the plans but that's a year away so we'll see.

I'll probably upgrade my PC before I get either even though I just upgraded not that long ago. I'm thinking 1080ti but who knows.

@Legend002: This... Even if you have a 4k tv, money is tight at the holidays. I find it surprising that so many people on here think everyone has disposable income. Maybe if your young living rent free in your parents house, but adults have kids and wives, and extremely expensive utility, credit payments, and mortgages , not to mention food and paying for gifts for family and friends. A 4k tv or a ps4 pro is the last thing I would consider buying (that would go for an expensive xbox too, if the scropio was on the market now). 1080p is fine for 95% of people, except the super well off, or the people who have broken tvs.
