MS has enough money to be fine for decades but people act like Sony is struggling after they posted a 700 million dollar profit. Which is the largest they have posted in 7 years. It looks like there struggles may be behind them.

But when are the non remaster games coming out? Besides Bloodborne all the good non multiplat games on ps4 I could play on PS3. Still waiting for Kingdom Underfire 2 the game I bought a ps4 to play announced before it even launched. Rime, Wild, NMS still waiting. Just saying. Waiting isn't great.

I can't say that the PS4 doesn't deserve it. The machine just keeps getting more and more games announced for it, the OS is very nice, and the visuals are good enough for the average consumer.

It's over, Sony fucking won. Dominating in sales, dominating in exclusives and library. This gen is almost unfair, it's like MS and Nintendo never even stood a chance. The king is back baby!

However, if you want to play that game I seem to recall Cows bashing lemmings to pay to play online. But hey, cows did care about sales when the PS2 was destroying its competitors. So they flip flopped twice.

I also remember when lems didn't care about 1st party games last gen when PS3 games like Demon's Souls, Journey, TLOU, LBP, UC2, etc. were getting all the GOTY awards. Now they sing a different tune this gen and shun 3rd party games like COD that they were gushing over last gen.

Sales have a direct affect on games. Japanese developers are hopping on the PS4 train with maximum effort now. I doubt they would doing that if things were playing out similar to last gen. You can try to twist it as being insignificant but a dominant PS4 will benefit the user base.

Well, if all of the recent announcements of PS4/Sony exclusives after E3 are any indication, it proves your XBone is going to be one fierce beer coaster in a couple of years.

Perhaps it proves that gamers with even half a lick of sense would wait to play all not-even-a-handful of exclusives yet when they can get a used Bone for a bill or two?

Because MS will not have any new partnerships or new IPs after, Sea of Thieves, Scalebound, Crackdown, QB, Recore? That's it? No more after? Got proof of this? As for Shenmue 3 I'll be playing it on my Windows 10 PC, and FF7 was garbage then so I wont be interested in it now. By now I think every one should see that Microsoft's overall financial standing does not bleed into the Xbox division. If so they would bought all the popular games like so many lems were predicting when this generation started.

I never said NO money from the rest of company is being invested into Xbox, but it is quite clear they don't have nearly the "warchest" that many assumed. They sacrificed power for media functions(Kinect) when designing Xbox One and they haven't been able to secure many major 3rd party exclusives.

Instead of eating a loss like they should have and making Xbox One with Kinect 2.0 $399 they decided to scrap it. Doesn't seem llike it has the full backing of the corporation.

I don't think they sacrificed power for media. Someone was going to be wrong on how much power this gen was going to be, console wise. They came in second. They were first 2 gens ago, and higher than the Wii last gen and didn't sell the most. They never will. Never. MS will never be the world wide favorite. Never.

As for securing 3rd party exclusives, the ones Sony have are made by companies from which country? You said I am twisting this but I am not. I am speaking from the only perspective I can. All I am seeing so far as this benefit to gamers from the sales dominance are JRPGs like Persona and Tales of. FF7, Shenmue, SF5 are all not exclusive.

XBox can't even hold on to Tomb Raider at this point and there was literally no third party exclusive announced at E3 this year we didn't already know about.
