It's photoshop, you can tell they used the play TV for the top portion. Then again, I remember the leaked version for PS3 Slim before and it ended up being the actual deal so this could be the real deal. I will say it looks okayish, I think the original PS4 looks awesome in my opinion.
My guess, this slim and budget PS4 probably go for $299 (will sell loads) and Neo will be $399. Just speculating.
Edit: For a slim model, you would think Sony at least include 1TB. 500GB isn't gonna cut it.
I was given the impression that the Neo would have a similar design factor to this. Guess some wires got crossed somewhere because the Neo packaging is a lot different than that. Good find!
It's a little bigger plays retail AAA blockbuster games something APPLE TV doesn't do.
It's got a deal with Spotify for music and its got tons of movies on the PSN
Who needs itunes sony is giving you AAA blockbuster games and all the stuff itunes has.

This thing is perfect. Dual shock 4 > apple tv remote.
Apple needs to respond to sony here because this is clear message to apple "you are not welcome in the tv living room space apple"
Hopefully apple takes notice and responds to sony this is huge deal I believe I know apple has a lot of money but i mean your getting crushed you probably say something.

They don't even have a 1TB model available in general, I don't know what in the hell they're doing. They're probably trying to mitigate cost on the consumer and forcing them to put in larger drives than the responsibility falling on Sony.
Looks legit but you never know with 3D printers and all. Design looks okay, OG PS4 looks better. I know it's hard to get an idea of the exact size but relative to the DS4 sitting next to it the console doesn't look all that much smaller.
It's barely smaller... People don't care about the vertical dimensions, it's about the overall footprint of the device being smaller..
It's the same size of the PlayStation 4, it's simply 3/8's of an inch thinner... Why even make this, seems like a combative move for the Xbox One S that isn't exactly enticing...

I agree. That's why I'm not entirely convinced that this is real. Sony's usually pretty good at the whole slim thing.

Oh that thing is fugly. I'll just stick with my original PS4. I do like the little PS symbols on the bottom though...X, square, circle, and triangle.
So I'm going to ask, and maybe it was answered somewhere, but are we sure that's a slim and not just the NEO? or have they become one in the same? Because let's be honest it's not that much slimmer than the original PS4.

Pretty sure that's the just the USB cable. Both ends of the cable are on the right side and you can see them enter the left at the bottom of the wrapping.

Sources have said that this is not Neo but it might look similar in ways. The packaging doesn't suggest that it's Neo either.
it certainly looks convincing. as mentioned above though..where are the vents? i only see a bit of vent space at the back.i would imagine this would be on a 16nm process to reduce heat but even still it needs to be able to get rid of it.
the placement of the power and eject buttons also looks a bit suspecious.
lol people dont care about the vertical dimmensions yet the biggest reduction on the xbox one s is from vertical angle most of the 40% is from a vertical cut hypocrite..lol
