[QUOTE="legalize3"][QUOTE="LosDaddie"][QUOTE="legalize3"][QUOTE="LosDaddie"] I own both consoles and PSN is not up to par with XBL.
Just try sending cross-game messages and game invites on PSN
LosDaddie
is that a major advantage ?
its like saying i have a webbrowser what do you have
Major advantage? Most definitely
I can invite my friends to the game i'm playing with ease and regardless if they are in another game or not. Same goes for messages.
Your problem is that you haven't used XBL to know how great the service works.
well if thats all i woouldnt pay 50 bucks for that
and it can be solved with 1 firmware update....
How so?
That feature has to be built into the game.
Well, if the can update the firmware to include this function, game developers can use it for their games. Right?
Also (not sure if it was a rumour or not) but the next big firmware update will let you access the XMB while playing a game, meaning you can send text messages to other players without needing to quite the game.
But I agree that the PSN still lacks some functions in comparison to XBL. That's just the way it is right now and there's not much more to say about it. It sure will improve over time, but that's all that can be said as nobody knows what it'll look like down the road.
