Purchase you regret the most?

For me it would have to be my Philips CDi with two of the CDi Zelda games, I was so dead set on experiencing them that I shelled out well over £250 for them and yeah, they're not AS bad as the internet makes them out to be (5/10 at the worst and 6/10 at best) however I can't help but regret buying them.

What about you, any purchases that you regret?

360. Not a bad system but I spent a lot on it and peripherals. I barely used it.

Probably the 500GB superslim ps3/gta v bundle. Play gta v for to weeks and it died. Sony d*cked me around for a year until my warranty ran out. Not sending a box when they said they shipped one. Sending me a ps4 box. Making me send that one back before sending me the right box. Just a whole lot of bull crap. Ended up giving it away.

The most or the bigest?

The one i regret the most is buying the Lego Naboo Fighter instead of the Ninja Castle that was even cheaper and bigger and had more stuff in it.

The most pricey regret was painting my car mate and leaving it under a tree on a rainy day.

I have yet to hook up the PSTV. I've had it for over a year and a half. It's in my home office though so I'm sure I will use it sooner or later.

Danganronpa 1 on day one for $40 stung.

Code of Princess for $20 was stupid.

DJ Hero. Bought it. Played it for five minutes. Not my jam. Same for Guitar Hero World Tour. At least both were cheap.

$30 Red Dead Redemption hurt. So did $30 Uncharted 3 but I finished that at least.

WiiU. The quality of Nintendo's games wasn't as high on that system, and the 3rd party games were lacking

I found the game painful to play and I spent at least 40 dollars on it. I'm usually not one to question reviews, but how such a miserable piece of shit got a 9 here is beyond me.

I don't remember if I was able to return it or not. If I wasn't, I probably got a little bit of store credit for it.

Console: Don't really regret any purchase at this moment, but I regretted purchasing a Vita for a long, long time. Recently started using it for other purposes, such as playing classis PS One games, or playing PSP games that I never got around to buying for the PSP itself, or playing indie gems that I for some reason had been ignoring, and I actually quite like my Vita now.

Game: SO MANY. But I guess if I had to pick one, I'd go with something from the past few months/past couple of years (no point regretting a purchase for too long), something like Fallout 4 or Dragon Age: Inquisition maybe. I also sometimes still regret buying Ocarina of Time 3D, because I used to like OOT a lot, hadn't played it in a long time, played the 3D version and realized it didn't hold up very well anymore. Tarnished some memories.

The goddamn PlayStation Vita TV. What the hell was I thinking?

Oh really? You don't regret the fact that you bought the 3DS thrice, bought the Vita twice and, correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't you planning on buying ANOTHER PS4? :P

No, I like the 3DS and the Vita and the PS4.

I don't like the PS Vita TV. it literally has zero utility, zero usage, it is a product that exists without a purpose. The only thing it is good for is playing Persona 4 Golden for a cheap price, but ****, man, I've already played Persona 4 Golden, so this this thing is meaningless to me.

I get more use out of the thing than I thought I would. Figured on using it solely for playing P4G on the TV, but ended up using remote play for PS4 through wifi in another room, and it works great. There's a slight lag input in trying to play online games, but sp games work perfectly that way.

I bought an Assassin's creed 1 & 2 bundle for about $50. I figured it was a good deal.

Played both games for a grand total of about 4-5 hours.

See, if I want to play Vita games, I usually prefer to play them on the Vita itself; and with Remote Play, too, if I can, I'll play them on the Vita (and if I have to play them on the TV, I'll just use the PS4 itself).

I can see that there is utility to the product for some people, but on the whole, it's not for me. it does not fit my preferences nor lifestyle.

I was actually going to buy a PStv when it was on sale for $40 once, but it sold out before I could. Guess I dodged a bullet eh?

If you don't have a Vita and never plan on buying one, there is nothing wrong with buying a PSTV to play some of the Vita's best games, as well as some PS1 and PSP classics, on your TV. If you already own a PS Vita, however, the thing has pretty much no use whatsoever. That's what I think.

Ace Combat Assault Horizon.

To be honest, the only vita games I really wanted to get my hands on were Persona 4 Golden and Tearaway. Admittedly though, I had no I idea that the PSTV played PSP games as well. That makes it considerably more enticing since I never owned a PSP.

@David719: Well, PSTV plays Persona 4 Golden just fine. For $40, it's not a bad purchase to play that and PSP games at all.

The Last of Us. I thought I was going to be playing the magnum opus of PlayStation but instead it was just a ok game with bad AI.

The PS4 for now. There is just nothing to play on it. I really hope that Persona 5 will be amazing because looking ahead that is pretty much all it's got going for it.
Interestingly, most things I regret I actually announced to my family that I was going to buy/do that and that I was going to regret those things in about a year time.
Maybe the next step should be to not buy/do those things at all.

In terms of games, I regret buying every Assassins Creed game I bought. I think I bought 4 of them? And I regret buying any of them. None of them are any good. I did not like the story, I did not like the climbing, I did not like the combat, I did not like the changes, I did not like the pacing, I did not like the A.I., I did not like the progression, I did not like the minigames, I did not like anything about those games. ANYTHING. They suck ass. I don't get why they sell or are talked about, ever. And I probably spent like $150 on the series in total because I kept thinking that I ought to like it. Ok, I like the concept minus the animus stuff. That's what fooled me. It's cool, right?! Assassins in the past, a secret society, blending in with the people, hit and run, parkour through medieval times. Changing the past. Changing people's lifes. Creative assassinations. From what I played there is zero tension in those games, zero setup, no need to care about 95% of the characters, no tense chases, no nothing. I's all very convoluted, superficial, repetitive, flat. I thought it had to be good because man, people sure love those games. Look at all those reviewers talking about playing that game. They are playing that game instead of a good game so there has to be something to it. Nope. They are wasting their time. I will never understand that series or people playing that series.

I'm really awesome at not buying things I don't want, but sometimes I've payed for turds such as Hellgate: London. I also regret buying the Bayonetta 1&2 bundle for Wii U. I hear it might be worth something later though, so maybe it wasn't a complete waste. I don't regret any system that I've ever got. Loved em all.

I've seen sooo many people saying this, including my friend. What is it that makes people who don't really want a PS4 to get a PS4? This seems very common. Why buy a system that doesn't have any games you want to play? I'm a huge Nintendo fan myself, but not even I buy Nintendo systems before I know there are several games out/coming that I want.

GTX 960. While it plays my games pretty decently at 1080p, the memory bandwidth is definitely gimped on this card. I should have gotten a 970.

Destiny... Cant believe there isn't litigation pending on the product they shipped day 1. Bungie disappoints around every corner for me as a gamer.

Watchdogs... Day 1? Why? Why did I do that? I actually watched a closed screening of the game at comicon and started falling asleep during it... Yet I bought it day 1. Sigh.

Also the wii.... 3 months after purchase it was a virtual store machine for my old post Snes games.... The actual wii games were garbage.

Watch Dogs. I bought it day 1 at full price and regretted it after a day.

I think Buyer's Remorse is pointless unless you can return it. I also believe in fate and destiny and to slip out one of them might break everything. But the games are Mortal Kombat 4 on the Game Boy Color - besides those stupid ass fatality animations. And Animal Crossing. I was a on GameCube kick so AC was unavoidable but man do I hate Animal Crossing anything. There's nothing to this game if you don't commit to either checking your Forest everyday or getting into the decal designer.

The original 3DS. Had I known they would announce a New N3DS I would have waited.

I regret buying the Original 360. Died on me while I was playing Assassins Creed 1 on it. The graphics were amazing and it was a joy to see how the old civilisations used to look and now you can wander them. So having a RROD made hold a grudge against MS in 2007 lol. I bought an elite in 2009 though.

The Wii. Although it was a fun casual experience with wii sports and other games. Later it became better with worthy exclusives still the worst Nintendo console ever.

As for games I regret purchasing dead to right on PS3. Terrible game.

Silent hill collection too since it runs at a terrible frame rate and has audio glitches.

Skyrim. Terrible floaty combat. Disappointing visual quality and animations. Buggy game on PS3
