Most recently I would say Black OPs 3.....not because of the actual game, because I got it on day 1(digital preorder) and have not had the time to play it once.

I'm not even a big COD fan, though I do like the single player campaigns and zombie mode, and had fond memories of BO1....so I got BO3, but too busy playing other games still. Definitely dialing down my day 1 purchases this year

I could say the Sega CD, but I won't, because it had Sonic CD. Sonic CD is best Sonic.

So that leaves only one other option: The 32X. That hurt in places buying a gaming device shouldn't. What a piece of crap. I never bought Sega hardware again.

Kinect for the 360 and the games for it.

The superscope for either the SNES or megadrive. It came with 6 games on a cart. All shit.

Some motorcycles as well

I don't regret a single game I bought, I'm not an ill informed consumer.

I'm not a fan of a few gifts I got like call of duty but I like every single game I own (except some in bundles but I dont' regret them since I didn't buy the bundles for those games)

You guys need to stop blind purchasing things, the only blind purchases i've made were mgs 5 and the witcher 3, and I knew a lot about them but got them day one without looking at reviews.

TR2013. What a mess. Such a generic pos of a game and it received so much praise...

This saddens me... I love TR 2013.

Couldn't stand it. The constant Lara's moaning and the forced gore every 2 minutes was so dumb.

Probably over half of my Steam games.

From that picture alone, there are 9 titles I will never play lol.

As of now, Halo 5 and that game got really boring fast and the campaign was a lousy joke. I'm just gonna go ahead and watch the whole Halo 6 thing on youtube when Halo 6 is release cause 343 cannot make a Halo game worth a crap.

I wasn't a big fan of DMC3, the original is still the only one I liked. I didn't hate 2. 3 I wasn't impressed. 4 was awful.

Never played Dmc.

Gameboy Advance because the Gameboy Advance SP exists.

PSP, was only there for Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep and a handful of JRPGs/remakes then I soon realised that the load times of the PSP was god awful.

@PSP107:

No, actually. The way sony treated psn with the ps3 and vita lead me to believe otherwise. Gamers became accustomed to the benefits of the account system and cross-buys. Along with that, the digital market as a whole gives some value to the customer by ways of purchase trabsfer--Google, ITunes, amaxon, etc.

Consoles: None

Hardware: I bought a Thermaltake Level 10 mouse that cost $60, it looked really nice but stopped working after two days (and never worked again). Worst part was I had to wait two months to get my money back. By the way, I strongly suggest you guys avoid purchasing any third party controller. Only buy the official ones (either Microsoft or Sony).

Games: Oh boy, it's a long list. But the ones I recall are: DN4Ever (100% crap), Betrayer (I'm still trying to figure out what that game was about), any Call of Duty title, just name it... (Well, CoD 4 and 5 were actually pretty good).

I know a lot of people will throw rocks at me but I hate The Witchers 3 and GTAV on the PS4 ... I really regret those 3h of play and can't bother play them ever again... I also regretted Bayonetta 2 on the WiiU, the first one was crap and the second one was a lot more fun but ultimatly meh. I also regretted buying Bioshock Infinite ... I still finished it but was like ... this is it ? and people praised it ? oh and Final Fantasy XII on the PS2 ... I still finished it but never ever touch that again.

Mafia 2 for 60 bucks.

Game was such garbage, it's only appeal is to your typical gamer who is wildly ignorant of dramatically superior crime dramas, that the game happens to ape poorly, just like its predecessor, except its significantly dull to play to boot. Sluggish movement, loose shooting, bland mission design, a horrible set of characters, and a bare bones plot that comes away with nothing to actually say. The game is shit.

Sort of... I stopped with BO2. Never bought any CoD after that.

Yeah, I should have stopped buying those games earlier.

I guess I'm not the only one lol. Last year I didn't spend much money on Steam and skipped the last two sales.

I don't regret any of my console purchases. I do regret buying MadWorld at full price.

It's a tie between Tomb Raider Angel of Darkness on PS2 or Aladdin on Sega Game Gear.

TR was a horrible glitch fest. Aladdin wasn't anything like the Genesis counterpart I had played and I was able to beat it in 30 minutes back in 1994 right out of the box when I was 12-13 years old.

Brink. Pre-ordered and bought Day 1.

Only played an hour of it. The game that caused me to stop preordering so much. Now I rarely do it.

Recently--the Xbone. Bought it just for Ori, and held not one shred of regret until it arrived on Steam. I've only powered it on once since then (for Tomb Raider), but otherwise it collects more dust than my U which is saying something (that system's sole saving grace being Pikmin).

Of all time--the Atari Jaguar. Long time ago when I was much younger I bought into the hype 100%. My parents refused to pay one cent, and as I lived on a 3 acre Protea farm at 4k feet, I spent months busting my ass doing hard yardwork so I could buy it.

In retrospect it's not something I completely regret as it taught me a valuable life lesson (don't be a gullible asshat and do research beforehand), but there's definitely a degree of regret still eating away at me in my long history of gaming purchases.

Never again.
