So... that's it for $2.99 a month? Not very informative but I'll check it out anyway. ¬.¬ Any other British Citizens know if I were to charge my card, is there an extra fee on top of the US Dollar charge?

Online magazine. Get a year for $25 and get a PSN game free. I think its Calling All Cars this year.

I will not be subscribing, but you can always read more at ps3fanboy.com, and there was a huge thread all about it in SW yesterday, so you could still find it a few pages back.

I heard you can get into the SOCOM beta and it has some free game as well. That's probably worth the $2.99. Can anyone confirm?

You get calling all cars if you do the 1 year subscription. If you just buy it for 2.99 or the subscription you get access to the SOCOM beta when it releases (kind of like Crackdown with the Halo 3 Beta) and a SOCOM theme.

what are you talking about? Betas have always been about signing up and praying you get in..and 9 times out of 10 you dont. Being guaranteed into a beta for $2.99 is well worth it IMO.

You dont need to buy things in Home either. They give you basic clothes, furniture....which for most people will be enough. Buying things in Home is an option, Qore is an option....if you decline both you still play online for free...and you still get to use Home.

it's also kinda like something that should be free and nobody should have to pay for. it's little things like this that sony is cooking up to make up for their losses on psn. trust me, gonna get much worse from what i've been reading in the next 12 months.

Qore gives you information straight from developers, and access to Beta's that people who dont pay arent allowed access to.

I personally wont be subscribing, because I only need online play and I get that for free so im good, however i will pay the 2.99$ to play the Socom beta.

Qore is an online magazine that offers exclusive demos, videos, and betas. There's also a show hosted by some chick named Veronica. Now here's what people who's excited about paying a fee to get early betas and demos and such fail to see, do you really believe that in every month, there will be a new beta or a new demo of every great upcoming games? Plus these exclusive videos, interviews, and that show hosted by Veronica will most likely end up on youtube and such and everyone else could watch these for free.

So in reality there's not going to be anything exclusive with Qore. There's more than one way to get into betas, any video shown in Qore can easily be shown on other sites and be watched free, and these early demos will eventually be release to the rest of us.

Qore will be another failure.

edit: also people are willing to pay $2.99 for a beta in Qore, while in most cases you can receive these betas when you pre-order the game, and in most cases you could cancel your pre-order and get your money back.

Dude. I never paid a cent for PS Underground. The only thing I had to do is register my Playstation. I've been in it since the beginning.

As for the betas, it's all in the timing. They send an email stating that the beta has spots, you reply to the email in a timely fashion..Boom! you're in..I even got into 2 betas at once. R & C Deadlocked and Killzone.

I just downloaded Qore.

it's pretty much gonna be a complition of downloadable games you purchased on PSN in one price.

buying from PSN:

Calling All Cars $9.99 + Socom $15.99 = $26

----------------

buying from PSN Qore:

Calling All Cars $9.99 + Socom $15.99 + A WHOLE LOT MORE (trailers, betas, demos, downloadable games etc..) TIL JUNE 2009 = $25

basically you have a choice of purchasing these downloadable games from PSN one-by-one with it's marked price tag...

OR purchase them all in a cheaper price from Qore..

i'd say it's a good f****n' deal...

for lemms claiming that you'll get these exclusives on the net later on... YOU HAVE NO IDEA...

Why would you buy anything from Qore when it's just a video magazine. The betas and demos are part of the product.

Calling all Cars is free if you subscribe to the magazine for a year...:|

Qore impressions:

-Tons of ads. Truly ridiculous!

-Gigantic download at 1.5GB!

-Long *** install time.

buying from PSN Qore:

Calling All Cars $9.99 + Socom $15.99 + A WHOLE LOT MORE (trailers, betas, demos, downloadable games etc..) TIL JUNE 2009 = $25

SHuN_G0Ku

wait so being subscribed to qore gives you as many PSN games as you want? Sorry I haven't researched the thing much.

I don't care why you bought Qore. I was laughing at what you posted. To be honest, I don't even think you have it. You don't seem to know anything about it.

...i dont understand why you guys gotta downgrade this feature when it's only its first month and could even match Live's features in a lesser price.

Qore might not be as good as what people were expecting it to be but like i said it's only its first day and there are always updates..

with this, i might have to lower my purchases on PSM mags plus saves me the trouble of walking my arse to the mail box when my OPM mag arrives (yes, i'm lazy :P)

I haven't downgraded anything. I'm getting the first issue once I get off work. I was skeptical that you had it when you knew so little about it.I'm pretty familiar with it and would have gotten it last night if they had put the damn thing up.
