Quantum thread of Gears of War plus a chick with a sword

You guys a some kinda haters especially when many games borrow from and play similar to others. The game actually looks decent, other than the fact it's a gears of war rip off (yes i know it is) what looked so terrible about it?

Keeping an eye on this one. Would be cool to play as a melee character is a GeOW-like world.

I wasn't really interested or how it will turn out before but after seeing this I'm hoping this game will be good and fun to play.

I'll be honest... while it DOES look like a shameless Japanese knock-off of GeOW, I might just try it if the end result is anywhere near as good as Gears. I'm a HUGE fan of Gears and if this game can deliver then I won't really have a problem with it. Who knows, it might even be fun playing a Gears-like game on my PS3.

I'm going to try and be different (fair). It actually looks good. Can anyone actually come up with valid reasons as to why it would be bad? And don't say crappy dialog because you can still have that and attain AA status on GS (Gears 1&2). Shooting mechanics look like they work. Cover mechanics look like they work. Melee looks fun. Art is interesting. Gothic architecture with an organic twist. Multiplayer confirmed. 7.5 at least.TheGrat1

This looks..really bad. Whats up with the chick with the sword. The chicks model doesnt even match the GeoW Muscular men models. Its kinda out of place.

That was horrid, the game has fail written all over it.

Wow, I thought it was shameless when uncharted ripped Gears of War off, but this is just... rediculous.

People should realize that games that rips off other games aren't always going to be good, maybe they'll be flaws in the games, remember all those Mortal Kombat rip offs? Though some rip offs are good to be fair.

Heh, if it ends up being fun what do I care what game it rip offs?

It looks like a subpar rippoff of a game that ripped off a subpar game but did it well.

It's a gears ripoff. So what? Gears was a lot of things but original it was not. I can wait to rent this game, I actually love the cheesy lines!

I don't know whether I should take this game seriously, in which case it looks like derivative garbage, or just try to enjoy the unintentional comedic value of it. I hope Tecmo become self aware of this at some point and try to turn it into a proper parody. The only way I can see this game being successful.

I don't know whether I should take this game seriously, in which case it looks like derivative garbage, or just try to enjoy the unintentional comedic value of it. I hope Tecmo become self aware of this at some point and try to turn it into a proper parody. The only way I can see this game being successful.

Forza isn't a GT ripoff, it's a different racing game in the same genre. It does many things that GT doesn't and in some cases it does things that GT does BETTER.So even if Forza was a true "ripoff" it at least tries to improve on the game it's supposedly ripping off.I think it's an absolute waste of time defending this game when there are far better games being released for the system.

Oh, and the dialogue makes me want to crawl underneath my desk and curl up into a fetal postion it is so bad. Just cheese layered upon cheese. "Another tower, another chance to end it all." Ughh....just scrap this one Tecmo and give us something a bit more innovative and fresh if you want to give us a new IP. Not this Quantum cheese Theory: Gears of Japan wanna be tripe.
