Wow, what the hell are you talking about? The times you use motion controls for SMG2 are for an alternate way to defeat enemies, rolling ball levels, flying levels, collecting star bits, swimming faster, and others I'm probably forgetting about, all of which require no "arm waving" at all and work very well...
takes 2 controllers..right? ok then...not comfortable to play. give me a 360 or PS type controller and I'll be happy to play it again..OH and I did beat SMG1...only played about 30min of SMG2..I stand firm on what ive said..sorry you feel otherwise.
I don't consider the remote and nunchuk as two separate controllers, they feel incomplete by themselves. And I think a lot of the game's mechanics would definitely have to be changed if it didn't use motion controls, for the worse too.
I'm also confused how you like SMG1 over SMG2...as most people would agree on here, SMG2 is the superior game. Its motion controls are definitely the same if not better than SMG1's...
But to each their own...I'm not saying your opinion is wrong, I just think it's very unjustified.
