Yep, I love using my Xbox Elite Controller on my PC, it get's the job done and I only use KB/M on first-person-shooters & RTS games only customization controller on PC gives the user more options how you play your games on PC, PC is all about choices for a reason.

Also, this whole 30fps vs 60fps is BS! I can tell asap when a game is 30fps, it effects the gameplay and 60fps+ makes the gameplay smooth, try playing Witcher 3 in 30fps and the difference is totally day/night.

Pc are only better (in some ways) if your rich. And even then you need a console as a side piece.

• Mobile Phones are good for pick up and actioning basic things instantly, with little fuss anywhere.
• When you actually start doing anything IN DEPTH however they fall apart.

Yea I can browse the internet, email and play SHALLOW-ASS games on my phone.... instantly, but if you want to do any of those things efficiently or in depth PC is still the best option.

Various form factors exist for very valid reasons. Yea, you have to go to a desk and turn on a PC to do the simpler things, but you can do so much more. browsing on phones is s*it, even my girlfriend gets frustrated and walks up to the office to continue when shopping.

PC has many more games and even more genres of games to play. It also has exclusives, plus gets the best version of multiplats.

Console gamers have a hard time grasping this simple concept it seems.

After my laptop died I got an iPad Pro and haven’t felt the need for a pc since. If I need to do something specifically on a computer I just use one at work. Sure having one would be nice to play the many good pc games but I have many good games on consoles so I’m content with that.

To many console gamers, if the games you're talking about aren't 3rd person action or movie games or a combination of those two, they don't count and should be ignored. My wild guess is that @Sevenizz isn't smarter than those guys.

Being honest is better. Neither consoles or PCs are much of a hassle if you know anything about electronics. Consoles can be a hassle with corrupting data, subscriptions for everything, lackluster options both with graphics and control methods, etc. PC takes a bit more know how to keep it working as you want it to. Consoles can be expensive, look at Nintendos', and all the subscriptions you need for online play on consoles, plus the fact that console games costs more than PC games, etc. add a lot to the cost. PC parts are expensive if you want max settings in your games.

It's weird. @freedomfreak knows PC has way more games than consoles. Everyone who knows anything about games knows this. Yet he says "no games", coming off like an idiot, which I don't think he is. He could've said that consoles has more games that speak to him to alienate people calling him an idiot, but didn't.

I believe people still wanna play game sin their consoles, because there are some people who don't have a PC at home (they usually have tablet, laptop, smartphone and console, but not PC). those people are the specific target for console. I normally play video games in the PC, but I have to admit that sometimes I get relaxed when I just lay on the sofa and play the console with the TV.

I can't understand why morons still play on the PC. Rockstar sees PC gamers as a cancer hence why they can't play the best game this gen. I guess they always have World of Oldcraft. Or Star Thievery, maybe another Battle Royal Gimmick game. Sad really.

Yes, I use a PS4 controller whenever possible. What I mean by that, is that oftentimes controller implementation is an afterthought. Look at any random game on Steam, and most will say "Partial Controller Support". That usually means things like menus aren't controllable with a controller. That also makes it more difficult to use my PC on a TV (which was another point I made). A lot of games simply aren't designed for a controller, with many having too many buttons to map to it (they're not streamlined for it). In PUBG, for example, I don't play it much but I still have to be ready to use my keyboard and mouse for some things. It's not the end of the world, but it's irritating. Anyway, that was just one of my many reasons for preferring consoles.

When it comes to framerate, yes, of course I can see the difference between 30 and 60. It looks nicer, but it has little effect on the actual gameplay. I don't understand it when people say it makes the game more responsive and have less input lag. Assuming a game is not pure garbage, it plays just fine at 30fps and I've never seen any input lag in my ~33 years of gaming unless we're talking about bottom of the barrel developers who shouldn't be allowed near technology.

Nice attempt but What do you say are "assumptions" based on a marketing strategy of Rockstar to sell first in the worst devices (you know, every simultaneous launch consoles have the worst comparative, remember?), so they want to fill their pockets with from the worst, to the best, as in GTA 5 (which now today PC is the best version, with mods that make consoles piss and shit themselves in each comparative, hehe).

And... even in your own assumption, still not a real answer: why are you so resentful with the best device ever invented to videogames.

You know, "art" can have "perspective", you can say "I like those games more than these", ok, but PC is "objectively" better: More powerful (or Less powerful, work in both ways if you don't like top graphics, it can be the best, an equal, or a cheap device, you choose). Freedom of not depends on 1 single branch to all in your life. All genres (consoles are meant only to play games and CAN'T play all genres properly?, seriously?). Backwards compatibility (again, consoles are only meant to play games but can't play all games? seriously?). Future certainty (again, consoles are only to play but can't be sure you will be playing your current titles in your next console). Prices (again, a cheap device which sells the most expensive games?). Free online (you really don't mind to pay monthly just to play online, even knowing PC has a BETTER service and for free?). Development (most console franchises come from PC). Mods, well I simply don't understand how there are people with 1000 hours on GTA or Fallout without a single mod, the worst is that you don't have a reference in consoles so you CAN'T truly understand how much have you been missing in your life, which is... pitiful?

But again, still not answering what I've asked: Why do you need to be constantly hating the best device for videogames. Andeven if you prefer to delude yourself thinking that it is not the best for your games, ok, THINK whatever you want in the lowliness of your "couch" when playing in your console, still repeating it once and again to be convinced, nobody cares, but where it comes that necessity of SAY your unfounded fantasies an urban myths against the PC? Kinda hard to enjoy gaming on a PC when all of your multiplayer games are infested with cheaters/hackers/modders and your "rig" becomes outdated and obsolete every two years vs 5-7 year cycles and actually be able to enjoy your multiplayer games with consoles.

Lets not even get into slightly older games or even brand new ones not working properly because of "reasons" despite you owning an up to date machine. How many people in here were able to get Fallout 3 running on their first try? I was lucky but my friend with a far better PC than mine at the time couldn't run it. LOL

The life of a hermit is comprised of trolling console nerds online and making sure GPU manufacturer's stock prices go up. There's very little room for enjoying games in a hermit's life.

Pc is frankly, overhyped and overrated. Too many pc elitists out there act like the platform is a godsend while the most it has to its name are crappy indies and RTS games aside from multiplats. It's too easy to pick an argument against pc. Aside from pointless tech, it's still just a home computer with bells and whistles. There's not much it can do that other devices can't, aside from developing games. I haven't relied on a pc for media entertainment for well over a decade and I've been doing just fine.

And I might add that AAA developers care more about consoles for videogame releases. Like Red Dead Redemption 2. A damn fine game.

Consoles have lost their main selling points in my opinion. There was a time where they were pretty cheap. Also local (usually split screen) multiplayer where you could invite your buddies over and play games was a big selling point. But now they are almost exclusively focused on online play. Exclusive games also aren't much of a thing these days. Most of the really big games are multiplatform.

They've really just become closed system gaming PCs. And I don't really need another gaming PC.

Your info is a decade out of date. From the Core 2 Duo on CPUs, RAM, and motherboards almost never need to be upgraded. You can go the better part of a decade without needing to upgrade them. GPUs need to be upgraded more frequently but it's more like every 2-5 years depending on what you buy and what you are trying to play. Also, I've pretty much always been able to sell my old GPU and only pay about $100 or so out of pocket for a new GPU. So we aren't really talking about a lot of money to stay current.

Also most PC games just work. I can't remember the last time I had any major technical problems with a major PC release. On Steam and similar services they come patched and ready to go.

Fallout 3 was long time ago. Things have changed a lot since 2008.

Also I would bet money RDR2 is out on PC within a year or two, and the PC version will look and play better. With the consoles now running AMD hardware, it is almost effortless to port games between PS4, XB1, and PC. Rockstar would have to just not like money to not port it to PC. I'm fine waiting. I have plenty of other stuff to play. I also don't buy games at launch usually. Too buggy. Too expensive. And you can get a GOTY version later with all the DLC rolled in.

^ When I first saw a gaming keyboard, I swear it was the absolute dorkiest looking thing I had ever seen! The WASD keys had like, a weird grippy coating over them and it had little lights under the board. How anyone in the world can enjoy playing videogames with those things is beyond me.

You can't play Total War or ARMA in a console, and RTS or Simulators are not worst than cinematic stupid linear stories, in fact, RTS are more "games" because of replayability. You can't re-play Uncharted even if you like it, but you will be replaying Starcraft all your life if you like it.

But besides what you think of PC, still waiting an answer about why do you have that necessity of be constantly hating the PC.

You can ask me why I may mock on consoles, I have real reasons that I can perfectly list (from downgrades in my PC games, trough stupid delays in launches to avoid the SHAME in comparatives, to destroy almost all multiplatform games in 1st/3rd person shooters to be easily playable on inferior devices, and I have many more, maybe I will make an entire topic about why is so easy to hate consoles, or so...). 1. No everyone does not need a PC actually. You can do a vast majority of the shit you need to do on a smartphone or tablet

2. A large portion of the games I really enjoyed are not on PC. GoW, Spiderman and RDR2 are my top three games of the year and not one is on PC.

3. To get the true advantages of PC gaming you need to spend at least two to three times the cost of a console. That's not worth it to some.

Still not understanding, right? We can argue all our lives about what a game is or why a movie is not re-playable, etc. But we can't argue about facts, to facts, the only consoles can argue is "I don't want quantity, quality, backwards compatibility, future certainty, entire genres, free online, modding" (to whichever wants to believes you). Besides console gaming, which forces to make titles more casual, downgraded, and genre limited if you plays on PC, the fact is that if you play on consoles, PC gaming does NOTHING bad to your games, in fact, it brings more titles and new genres.

And this is why I own both gaming PC and at least one current-gen console that is PS4. My Switch is a bonus just to play when I'm out of the house.

Indie games aside you can't even argue my point. The PC has and will always have more games and more higher rated games. This isn't up for debate.
