Left 4 dead 2, at least it tries to be different than every other shooter out there.

UC2 is easily the most overrated game of the generation. It is good, but it isn't the best game EVARZ.

Most of the voice acting in DAO has about the same emotional expression as the Twilight vampires.

Its a toughy for those three categories, I can't comment on story yet because I'm not that deep in DAO but its looking good so far. Soundtrack as well. But I can give VO to Uncharted 2. Both Valentine and Black give a better performance in U2 (Flynn and Chloe) than DAO (Allistar and Morrigan). You character doesn't speak. Whereas Nolan North does what Nolan North does. Which I like, he delivers great lines throughout.

McTavish as Lazarivic does a great job at being the bad guy without sound over the top or rambling monologue. And then you have Fisher, Tenzin, and goddamn victor sullivan to round out a great cast. Thats not to say DAO doesn't have some great voice acting but U2 is just better.

I loveUncharted 2, but it is getting way too much hype, It was a great game, one of the best of the year, and generation, but it is not the best game ever made, and Dragon Age beats it hands down as a better game. Uncharated 2 looks better, and has better animations, but Dragon Age has better story, characters, and soundtrack (not taking anything away from U2)

If we can't compare two types of games then why have an overall game of the year, since it is impossible to compare games over different styles? Yeah it would not be a prefect comparison, but you can still judge which one to be the better game.

Yess this sounds so similar with Modern Warfare 2 being picked as an "innovative" game in some sites, huh?.

Even going as far as rating it above Uncharted 2 that seems to improve in almost every way imaginable to a human's mind compared to a money-making- machine rehash with new weapons and new maps.

They one year they really kissed up to Gears of War. Gears of War won everything it was nominated in (including best new character...) and won GOTY. Someone mentioned on the G4forums that G4 doesn't give a GOTY to any game unless someone comes for an interview to accept the award. See how many nominations Uncharted got?
