Even a botched port like Dark Souls on the PC outmatches the console versions. Unlike the console versions, its capable of maintaining a stable 30 FPS (Blightown!), and it also came with additional content for free, as it was included in the game. Not to mention the modding capabilities which made a big difference!

I tried to play PC games but when I was installing it asked me to push the any key to continue. I spent hours looking for the any key but finally gave up and went back to playing consoles. PC gaming is a waste of time.

Most console arguments must be qualified with something to make themselves seem better.  Such as adding "console" to graphics king or saying "mods don't count!".  They must constantly shift the goal posts or rig the setup in their favor to win anything.  It's like most unintelligent people arguing on the internet though, they try to win anyway possible even if it does make them look like idiots in the process.

You do realize that consolites are following in the wake of PC since the move from SD to HDTV right?  PC was the first with HD CRT Monitors.  Console was stuck on SDTV long after PC switched to HD.  PC was on LCD technology long before your mainstream TV sets were.  Now that consoles actually play at the same resolutions PC were years ago and LCD technology (along with plasma) have become mainstream you are trying to claim that PC is trying to be like console?  :lol: You have quite a bit to learn about technology...

Consoles sapping the FPS market (Halo/CoD) opened up a plethora of new genres on PC that could not have survived in previous gens. Standardizing hardware, drivers, unified shaders, etc have made PC gaming a much smoother and seamless experience then it ever was prior. Big budget multiplats like Assassin's Creed would not be available on PC outside of this gen. Dozens of new control schemes available. Both PC and consoles enjoy the success of each other. This is kind of common sense.

I'm not talking soley about gamespot, you can use metacritic too if you want, or any site that reviews a decent amount of PC games for that matter. Same result in the end.
