Metroid Prime 3 is a feminine shooter (which incidently scored 9.5 at IGN, 8.5 at Gamespot, and is the same score as Uncharted at Gamerankings) where you throw your left hand forward to launch a grapple beam that rips off enemy shields and tears open panels and parts of the environment. It is 20-30 hours in length, relatively non-linear, features incredible boss fights, and also has environmental puzzles.

Other than the motorbike sequences in No More Heroes, you have Mario Kart which is as important a franchise as Super Smash Bros Brawl and Super Mario Galaxy.

A few games are good but the main lineup is so far is just sequels to Gamecube games and really not any better than it was (although they are getting to main franchises out faster). No I do. But at $249 it was the most I'd ever allowed myself to get ripped off. I do enjoy the main Nintendo franchises and just assumed the price would never get lowered since it was selling so well. But by all means the Gamecube era hardware is not worth over $149, period.

The shops here in new zealand are the same, the wii popularity has sharply declined and the same is true in australia cause my brother just picked up his PS3 for DMC4 an asked me what the console was like cause theres always a ton of them in stock (I told him not to waste his time).

I'm planning on selling mine unless the lineup picks up dramatically.

And Finally good ol N.Z. I don't think N.Z has ever been a very big market for console gaming so it's no surprise that little interest has been generated. My works headquaters is in New York its a very painful flight but luckly I have my R4DS in my DS for my trips otherwise I'd go insane (I do buy my games, however R4 is extremely handy for away trips so I don't lose my carts).

That probably true the wiii shipments being increased for brawls release, that would probably make sense why there were so many around.

As for australia its mainly a pc driven gaming market like europe, consoles sell well but not near the amount they make out to be, unfortunately sold vs shipped debate comes into practice a lot in our region of the world cause we don't really have anyone monitoring the figures and most the game companies just give out there shipped figures and say this is how much we sold in australia.

With that logic the cows can still be arrogant this generation as well because unlike Nintendo's or MS their last gen sysytem is still selling, and selling well I might add. That's funny cause every Wii related forum on the internet still seems to have lots of people saying they can't find a Wii. It's very hard to believe lots of stores has "a ton" of them.

And how would you know about console popularity overall? Do you know every Wii owner in Aus and NZ? :|Its software sales are still going well, so it was losing popularity the games wouldn't be selling.
