I'm just amazed at how some people don't want to give people the freedom to choose what they want to like or dislike. Reasons are not needed for someone to dislike something that is their choice.

That is the current fad for sheep. Sales give them the confidence to tell you what they like is the best.

I agree with you. If the Wii was the only gaming platform in existence (no ps3, 360, or PC) and had those never existed, I would not be into gaming at all. Because Nintendo systems almost never have games I want to play including the Wii.

I am expecting the "you are not a gamer response"... If I have to like Nintendo to be a gamer I would not want to call myself one anyway.

Most gamers have been around long enough to recall the days when gaming was something to be totally shunned by someone over the age of 12. So we are used to our hobby not being popular. Eventually there will be a really large back lash against what we see as too "popular" as well... as we naturally seek to crawl back into the darkness from hence we came.

Lemme see, all of the PS3 AAAs so far are also availible on either the 360 and the PC, while the Wii have more AAA exclusives so far this year than either the 360 and the PS3 combined. Yep, the Wii sure is trash.

the wii's games dont go multiplat because people would be pissed if they got a ps3/360 game with graphics like the wii has. its just not up to par for the other two consoles. and i got my ps3 for christmas, and when my parents were looking they called me about 4 times, because they had found wii's and 360's galore but couldnt find a ps3. but ps3 is what i WANTED. i could care less about some weak graphics with motion sensing controls. basically what the wii is, is a console designed to play all of those PLAYTV sport games.

if i wasnt going to get a PS3 i'd still have gotten a 360. the wii is a console for party's with people that dont play many games, because the controls are easy to learn.

and id like to see the wii even attempt to port Uncharted or hell even heavenly sword. and disk space wouldnt be the problem, its that the wii is basically a console with the same power as a xbox but with motion controls and a sexier case.
