You can get this graphic card for 50 dollars which is a great starter card for PC gaming (50 dollars for only this week, its a steal!)
Diviniuz
Great deal. Still a solid card, capable of playing even the most recent games at maximum settings, no AA, 720p+ at 30fps+.
Both the 360 and the PS3 have a Ton of FPS games to choose from. Each has some great exclusives, and they share a host of muliplat titles with each other. IMO, unless you're really wanting to play a particular PS3 exclusive, I'd recommend the 360. It's always seemed to me that the 360 userbase is more focused on FPS on avg, and the communities for multiplat shooters is usually quite a bit larger and longer lasting than on the PS3.
ps3 games fall in the online compared to 360 games. killzone online is dead. with 360 you will get L4D, gears of war, halo. and like you mentions the multiplayer is better and the controller is better
Well the ps3 has Uncharted 2 which is better than gears, and they also have Demon's Souls which is pretty amazing. Killzone 2 is terrible imo and I've also never been a fan of Halo 3. The ps3 also has better looking future releases. But if you want fps games the pc is where you should be looking. SAGE_OF_FIREuncharted 2? i dont think tc really cares about single player. uncharted 2 has a meh multiplayer compared to gears.
Based on your initial post I'd say the Xbox 360 is most suited for you. It has more FPS exclusives than the PS3 and, if you don't mind a yearly fee, has better a much better online/chat service. It also has a larger active gaming community.
X360 FTW.... in this instance
i am more towards multipalyer and more towards shooting games. have a lap top so there fore i cant buy anymore pc. i wish to get a console mainly for FPS for myself and once in awhile get Fifa/PES or WWE for my friends who drop by my house once in a while. but i also like Fat Princess in the PS 3. so confused on which console to buy. please dun tell me to buy both console as i can only afford 1 console right now. I loved playing bad company 2, modern warfare 2 but maybe medal of honour. for ps 3 i loved killzone 2 for xbox 360 i love gears of war 2, halo versions. yeah, paying bucks for yearly i do not mind. Executor_84get the halo reach 360 bundle thats coming out soon.
i own both 360 and ps3, 360 is better for FPS. the controller is better.
360 ships with a wireless headset so you can bet that pretty much all 360 people online have a headset. I've played online games on the ps3 and maybe half the players use a headset.
that being said my 360 is collecting dust, ps3 is better for every other game besides fps games, it's got better exclusives
The xbox is more suited to FPS games due to the controller and the large FPS community that is Xbox Live
It's my least favorite console overall, but with Halo: Reach coming out 360 is the best choice if all you want is FPS.
Hi all, I am going to buy a console soon, am not a fan boy of either console. I just wanna play mainly games, which is FPS on my console. Xbox games are Gears of War, HALO. I have a blu ray standalone so with or without blu ray is alright =) PS 3 games are Killzone 2, Fat princess. Multiplats: Modern Warfare 2, Bad Company 2. I understand that most of the multiplat games looks better in xbox 360. I also understand that Xbox 360 controller is better for FPS. Live is definetely better then psn as we need to pay yearly i think. but it has cross chatting, better multiplayer all this. which console will you guys recommend me? i understand that xbox 360 d pad is not good as ps 3. but razer is coming out a new controller for xbox 360 which is RAZER ONZA . so do i buy xbox 360 for just FPS games or PS 3 for just FPS games? please recommend me a console that has better multiplayer, better FPS games and Good controller for FPS. Thanks in advanced.Executor_84
Get either a PC or PS3...or an Xbox, but only do that if you like Halo.

uncharted 2? i dont think tc really cares about single player. uncharted 2 has a meh multiplayer compared to gears. Stop posting BS. Tons of Xbox 360 owners complain about the advantages that hosts have in Gears of War games and there being lag. I can't comment on that since I don't have GeOW 1 or 2, nor Xbox Live Gold. Killzone 2 is alive and kicking, and you'll find more than enough people on at all times. Uncharted 2's MP was pretty damn fun and my favorite out of all the MP games I have on PS3. I doubt you own a PS3.[QUOTE="SAGE_OF_FIRE"]Well the ps3 has Uncharted 2 which is better than gears, and they also have Demon's Souls which is pretty amazing. Someone said pc (too lazy to quote) But... ummm... he clearly said console.
Anyways I think PS3 has more exclusive FPS games than 360. So that should be your answer. Unless you are like crazy about Halo.
uncharted 2? i dont think tc really cares about single player. uncharted 2 has a meh multiplayer compared to gears. Nah I preferred uncharted 2's mp over gears, gears' is very unbalanced and just frustrating.[QUOTE="SAGE_OF_FIRE"]Well the ps3 has Uncharted 2 which is better than gears, and they also have Demon's Souls which is pretty amazing. ^you win an internet. would have gotten 5 internets for "perfect dark".
360 is the best for FPS for sure, especially with reach coming out. PS3 has KZ2 and MAG, but reach dominates them in gameplay, features, feel/controls, and overall experience.
just forge world is enough to win this discussion, let alone the rest of the game.

i though halo reach is not out yet?I like everything, but as far FPS the subject ends up being Killzone Vs Halo and that turns to personal preference, honestly I like Halo but I just don't like paying every year for gold membership. It's ready out of the box. There seem to be more people online and with a mic on 360 though and that makes things much more fun.
well.. maybe pc is not as famous as console? as console does not have gears of war 3 / killzone 3? but it has counter - strike? haha. no jus kidding.. but i prefer console more then pc. cause u see. first. pc need to upgrade my RAM / Memory / Graphics Card to be able to play the latest games. ok let's say i have a very good pc right now. then in a 1 - 2 yrs time. a new game is out but my pc does not match the requirement. so i need to buy additional RAM all this to put in, in order for my pc to be able to run the game in max settings. so overall i still prefer console > PC.So wait maybe I missed something, why not just get a gaming PC? :? Why does it have to be a console?

You have it all wrong... A PC you buy today will allow you to play games that look better than on consoles. And in the future from now no one is forcing you to upgrade your PC. You just don't max out the game. No matter how you look at it the game will still look better than anything consoles has to offer. So wait maybe I missed something, why not just get a gaming PC? :?
