Can anyone confirm if the gunplay is as meaty as KF or simlair? Then it might be insta-purchase for me

AAAA game for sure. It will have superior gameplay, server options, and graphics compared to the other new FPSgames out there. Personally I don't see why people think the graphics are bad, they should look at the new screen shots, itson the same graphical level as Battlefield 3.

I found this little tidbit on the TWI forums from one of the beta testers. I can't validate his claims, but take from it what you will.

"One of the absolute greatest aspects of RO since the mod was that it really made you feel like you were firing a weapon. RO2 takes that to the next level. It sounds corny as hell but during the Fallen Fighters session today, after firing the Kar98 across the square, I honestly thought I smelled burnt gunpowder for a split second. It felt so real that my mind actually took me back to the range in my head." -Amerikaner

Personally I don't see why people think the graphics are bad, they should look at the new screen shots, itson the same graphical level as Battlefield 3.

I've got far more than enough to play it. I just don't think it looks that good visually speaking. Don't think the graphics warrant the specs.

I was speaking of more the recommended specs, not minimum. I'm not ok to have an opinion that differs from yours? Interesting. Yet, I still do. I think it looks good but nothing special. Deal with it.

The game is incredibly buggy right now. They'll patch it up good, but it will take time. Also a lot of people who play RO2 bought it simply because it was a PC exclusive with mods. Nobody seems to understand the concept of teamwork and coordination and are perfectly fine with trying to play it like Call of Duty or Battlefield.

Having a blast with it so far :)

Some issues forsure but the gameplay, music and level design I really like. Also Tripwire also supports there games long after release which is nice.

I expect a 8/10 from gamespot personally.
