Red Orchestra 2 is very poor

I purchased Red Orchestra 2 Heroes of Stalingrand yesterday from my local shop, I've played the multiplayer of the game and I really cant stand the game and how horrible this game is. This game made me consider to cancel my pre-order for Battlefield 3. Thlyis RO2 is extremely buggy, the graphics are terrible worser than any call of duty game, the gunplay is so bad, so slow-paced. I've returned my copy back to gameshop. It seems MW3 will be the only sucessful FPS and posibbly best game of 2011. Guys, if you are look forward to get RO2. My opinion is, dont buy this game and save your money for MW3.

Not to mention, this game has alot of frame rate issues.

I like the part where he brought BF3 into the discussion as if it had anything to do with RO2 in any possible way.

Isn't it supposed to be a simulation? Its supposed to be slower paced. Like ARMA. MW3 is arcade.. .so its fast paced. BF3 is not AS arcade as CoD but definitely not anywhere near a simulation either. So the 3 play very differently.

Also what does this being bad to you have anything at all to do with BF3?

Nope BF3 aint no war simulator and im not sure bout RO2.

Wanta war simulator get out Operation Flasghpoint 1 or ArmA 2 those are real war simulators and 2 games PC gamers should be proud of.Those 2 are gems of games that require skill,teamwork and a bit of savvy :P

RO2 is, BF is not.

The multi-player is awesome, though there are still some nigglging issues - somehting I'm nto to surprised about, this is a pretty small dev.

The single player suffers from terrible AI, pathfdinging, and animations that don't quite play right or run in sync.

I don't know why people can't understand what TC is saying here. BF3 and RO2 play the exact same. I mean, come on... Dice are just re-releasing Red Orchestra 2 with a new coat of paint.

I am having a blast with it so far.

Great music, fun gameplay and good level design.

There is some issues forsure, but Tripwaire always supports there games for ages after release.

Only issues I have had is some server problems, the actual game is running well for me besides the serer issues.

Definatly room for alot of improvement, but im having a very fun time with it so far.

Also it is more of an aquired taste like ARMA2,etc.. you wont do well or enjoy the game if you play it with a rambo style of combat. You gotta work as a team and what not.

As with most these types of games youll get a good amount of people not working as a team or doign objectives, that will change as people get better and also when some just leave and go back to COD.

Very fun game so far, with some issues though no doubt. I reccomend it if you are a fan of ARMA, RO, Ghost Recon,etc.. type shooters if not then maybe wait a month and see how the updates have gone.

Dude. BF does not play like Red Orchestra. All you need to do is say you don't like the war sim. That's cool with me. But telling people the game is poor because it's realistic and that BF3 preorders should be cancelled and that MW3 is the game to wait on when all three are completely different is a just TEENSY bit suspect considering all of the BF3 VS MW3 nonsense going around.

thats the payoff with smaller budgets in comparrison to big titles but it sometimes makes a game feel more well...human :P Its like dead island i love it despite a multitude of problems and you know it was made on a fairly tight budget compared to most other offerings this holiday season.

I dont see what TC's trying to get at either, it seems like a veiled attempt to bash RO2 and BF3 and say MW3 is bettah :P

That's like saying... I played Dungeon Siege 3 and it sucked so much that I'm going to cancel my pre orders for Torchlight II / Diablo III.

If its like MW2 and BLOPS then no thanks, there hasnt been a good COD game since COD4 imo.

I prefer online shooters with more teamwork then people trying to be rambo, and dont get me started on the horrible kill streaks and unbalanced gameplay.

Ill still try MW3 but I am not expecting all that much, have to wait and see how the next COD turns out.
