Red Orchestra 2 is very poor

Far from perfect but if you dont mind learning a bit and looking past some issues I definatly reccomend it ;)

Definatly not a game for everyone though i will say, its more for ARMA, Operation Flashpoint, Ghost Recon, RO1 fans then more modern onlien FPS fans.

Well I dont mean EVERY person who liked those games will enjoy this, I just mean Ive met alot of people on there so far that have liked one of those games I mentioned above in the past:P

Mainly for the realism and how the gameplay is more geared towards team work and playing things as you would in real life.

Not to mention there are no reviews yet, but only player reviews which are 7-8 range. 7 to 8 is far from bad. Can't wait for the CoD floppage.

As clear a trolling attempt as his OP is, there is unfortunately some semblance of truth in that. Red Orchestra 2 really isn't very good, and I'm not just saying this because 'it's too realistic for me', it just isn't good. It's unbelievably buggy, crashes every half hour or so on my PC, is not only far uglier than any of it's competitors but really badly optimized as well - even with a pretty good rig, you'd be lucky to get, say, 30 fps out of it, in a game with graphics which would have been top of the line in about 2004, which is oddly much worse than the beta, hit detection is all over the place, everything feels clunky, not because it feels 'realistic', but robotic, and multiplayer is practically unplayable due to how god awful the server browser is, it's clearly unfinished and overall a much worse product than it's predecessor.TheOtherTheoG

You don't make a thread about RO2 and the instantly say how MW3 is going to be so much better without raising tons of red flags and then say you returned a Steam activated game.

So excited. I haven't played a reaslistic war game online before (besides ARMA2, but that was a horrible experience)

Battlefield 3 and RO2 both play same IMO and MW3 is way different and also the best choice IMO. shahilsyed

Anyway I like the way Red Orchastra 2 looks, it seems to be pretty gritty and realistic. And I like the setting of WW2 better (I always have liked the WW2 settings better than modern times for some reason). The only thing I don't like is that you have to play as commies, but I can get past that since your killing kraut fascists.

Also it seems a littlle more accurate than most WW2 shooters, the battle of Stalingrad was VERY bloody, especially for the Russians. They had more people then they had guns, so what they did was give everyone ammo but only the front lines guns so when the front lines would die the guy behind them would pick up thier guns and reload, only to get killed a little later. Russia suffered more casualties than anyother nation that was involved in WW2.

The game doesn't really show this from what I have seen, but it does seem to have a theme of real struggle involved.

Also your clearly a spokesperson for Activision.

The guy never played Red Orchastra 2.

For one thing he says he sold it back to Gamestop, which is IMPOSSIBLE. You want to know why? Because it's a PC game, you can DL it off Steam which means no trading in, I guess you could buy it on disc at a store, but PC games come with product keys that you can only use once. So he obviously never played it lol.

What I find funny is how he canceled his pre order for BF3! How that game came into this discussion is beyond me, but canceling a totally different game because you played something totally different makes no sense.

I was going to post something then i read your whole paragraph and decided your not worth it like every other cod fanboy.

Even if he's fooling around he is right, the game is buggy and does have alot of framerate issues.
