BF 2042 is actually a decent game now. It has come a long way since launch. However, it still falls well short of past BF games and is still missing key features.

I get that but how did they make all of these boxes and then decide to drop 60fps at launch? It would have been better to just delay the game until 60fps was ready. This looks much much worse than a delay.

This is software, which means things can change. When it comes to physical merchandise that needs to be created ahead of time, changes to software claims are not easily addressed. To prevent a lawsuit for false advertising, they needed to make this tacky fix. As you have said, they should have delayed the game.

This just tells me that 60fps update is going to be a while.

Why do mainstream games bombard you with stupid UI crap? Hitmarkers, enemy outline, health bars, damage numbers, etc.

It doesn't help that the game looks arcadey as hell and none of the weapons have any weight behind them.

My guess is a 6. It looks incredibly mediocre.
