Dang just think how much a person could trick out their car now. or what kind of crazy designs people will be able to do.People can already do cars like this.

Two discs for a racing game? WTF? How does that work?f50p90
That's what i'm wondering. I'm hoping one is for installs maybe, I couldn't imagine how else two discs would work with a racing game.
[QUOTE="masiisam"][QUOTE="Episode_Eve"]Nice for the Forza series. 400 cars isn't that big. Now only if they used those 2 discs for 100 tracks :D!Episode_Eve
I took a deep breath when I saw 400...
I am still working at unlocking the 300 in FM2...damn that takes forever..
Yeah. 400 is big if you try to get each and every car, but compared to GT4 it's not big at all.
I just hope they make alot of tracks and keep the custom paint feature.
I am sure FM3 will continue to build on the formula that works really well for them.."Online..tracks.. car customization ...etc"I liked Gt4..but in a car ccomparison to Fm2...it just seemed that GT had alot of redundant cars..Not that FM2 did not do that...but it seemed very well used in GT...
Just can't picture them setting it up so you'd have to change discs to change cars....besides 400 cars is ALOT less data than 100 tracks.heck 400 cars that is worthy of 2 disks
GT5 better combat this with all teh cars in the world

GT2 did a great job with two disks...
Oh, well I am not a big fan of the racing genre, it just sounds weird. I guess there is nothing to worry about then for Forza 3 fans if this news is true.

700 cars in GT4 and you couldn't do absolutely anything to 80% of them and the ones that you could tweak only allowed for mild engine modifications.

Ilikemyname420
they could pull it off that thing the "Optional instalation" could be used good here like to stuff in 2 gigs of into the installs to avoid some of the data needed on the 2nd disk
or DLC could play an important role
these are ideas that could be tossed around
I can live with 2 discs if it means... 100 ****ing Tracks!?!?!? Sweet Jebus!PBSnipes
agreed, this is one of the very few games i will buy at launch

GaMeR_Willz
2 discs! More for your cheddar. :) I'll take it.
I would prefer the installs than swapping the discs.
Swapping the discs is embarrassing really.
But I'm getting Forza 3 for my 360, but 2 discs... Er?! *Prepares for major disc swapping time!*
You get embarassed when you switch discs? What kind of a sheltered life have you been living?

*shrug* Gran Turismo 4 was marked down for being essentially a rehash of Gran Turismo 3: A-spec, but that was godly. Still the best handling and cars though over Forza 1.
And you compare it to games at similar times, not in order. The same reason Call of Duty 4 and Halo 3 are compared.

It would be big if it's 400 unique models of car rather than 100 unique car models and 300 rehashes based on those initial 100 (which is essentially what GT4 did). So whoever sees the FM3 demo at E3, drill Microsoft, "Do you mean 400 unique car models? And 100 unique tracks?"this just in GT5 700 cars...ON A SINGLE DISK!blazinpuertorocThis just in GT pads there numbers with using the same car with a slight tweak to increase the numbers. Also no damage modeling. Also GT does not allow the amount of ability to customize a car like Forza does.
Also GT does not let its users design their cars to such a personal taste like this
Or any other design a user can create

*gasp* omg u can paint ur cars in forza.... need for speed needs to watch outSo whoever sees the FM3 demo at E3, drill Microsoft, "Do you mean 400 unique car models? Disc 1 has 400 cars and 100 tracks - complety SP.
Disc 2 has car customization and is online only.Thats my guess ...

That's how it should be done with all games. One disk for single player, and one disk for multiplayer. Save files can be used for both.

One for Career mode and the other for Arcade/Multiplayer

GaMeR_Willz
if it was on the ps3 it would be delayed 5 times, require a 30 min. install time and eat up more of the HDD, and it would be incredibly hyped by the cows who, as of right now, are bashing it because it will be a 360 exclusive. and that would be if Sony doesn't cancel if for some dumb reason.

And Forza outscored GT4 ehere and at GR. You may not agree, but the general consensus is that Forza 1>GT4

You must be biased, because we haven't seen anything from Forza 3, but if it looks better than Forza 2 then it will obviously look incredible. But we still can't compare them.
What does MGS4 have to do with this, other than prove that you're an ignorant fanboy?

Well in all the previous GT games they included multiple versions of the same car and counted tham as different cars. Im willing to bet Forza 3 will have a comparable number of unique cars.

Holy crap, link? Their NASCAR sims were only barily matched by Forza 2 physics whise years later on much more powerful hardware. Damn you EA!
