Rumor: Forza 3 will have 2 discs, 400 cars, more

Cows can not say a word about changing discs. It is a minor annoyance and nothing more. Any cow complaining about switching discs should be referred to MGS4. A great game but a 3 minute install in between each act? Seems very similar to switching discs to me.

Note- This is not a shot at MGS4. Absolutely love the game, but anyone without a biased perspective can see the similarities.

So you need like 100 instances b4 someone would get sick of shuffling disk, you know that dont make since right?

And yet there are game with no mandatory installs, your feeling is gonna get hurt if you keep talking about blu-ray and installs, not all games need it so why keep talking about it?

*shrug* Gran Turismo 4 was marked down for being essentially a rehash of Gran Turismo 3: A-spec, but that was godly. Still the best handling and cars though over Forza 1.

And you compare it to games at similar times, not in order. The same reason Call of Duty 4 and Halo 3 are compared.

As for AI, the GT series is known for moronic AI drivers, running on fixed paths, never making a sinlge mistake, shunting into your back if you get in their way. Heres a quote from the GS review

As with any review it too is just an opinion..But check the review for both games..AI for FM was praised..and AI for GT4 was thrown under the bus..

But... that means the Disc 1 will have to be able to recall the car customization which makes a second disc pointless. Also, there will have to be a massive save file otherwise.

bu..but...teh blu ray isnt needed this gen..it must really hit lemmings hard in the face..

Needing to install new Data for minutes in MGS4 before every act. And the long loading times between every new area and cut-scene made me wish the game came on multiple disks. It would take me less time to switch disks than it does waiting for the game to install after a couple of hours play.

If anything MGS4 proves that blu ray doesn't help at all.

So having your game printed on 2 DVDs makes it old and obsolete technology? Considering having to switch discs doesn't take away from the experience. According to FF7, which scored a 9.5, it has no bearing on the experience what so ever if done right. -- Considering Blu-ray poses no advantages over DVD9 when it comes to games(Because we both know thats what your trying to insinuate); If so then explain to me why PS3/360 multiplats have usually been better on 360 more times than not; Why has it taken PS3 twenty months to get a game thats as or more critcal than all of 360 and Wii games, which uses the 'inferior' DVD9.

I find that funny since Wii launched AFTER PS3, ships with a DVD drive thats even less 'advance' than the one in the 360, yet it has spanked both 360 and PS3! in sales and PS3 in AAA Exclusive games.

. Again, not all games have to be installed you get the same perfomance as a DVD.......you get one more chance.

It doesn't matter, the fact that people claimed that Blu-ray was suprior to DVD9 in the same situations is totally contradicting for there to be installs to try and keep the playing field even or exceed it. If you can't see that then you probably can't see that python thats about to bite you in the buttox.

Excluding the variants, GT still has more cars but I'd rather have 300 cars that I can make my own than 600 cars that remain stock. Just look at what the Forza community has done with the livery editor.

God912 is insane...I cant even begin to imagine how long it takes these guys to make skins like that....The skin community is so crazy..I will go to the auction house just to check them all out..

Giving it more thought..If everyone is getting technical on how many cars are available in each game including variants...I would like to add that given the accessibly of upgrades to the cars though the PI index...you can have well over a 1000 cars...IE: a Honda civic that you can upgrade all the way to "u"

In addition the tuning community is equally as insane as the skin community..Those guys are hardcore and strive for that last 1/10 of a sec..
