How do you know? Gearbox have never made a Halo game, they just ported one to the PC.

halo on pc was done by gearbox and the multiplayer maps they made are better than bungies....plus the new weapons they made were alright...gearbox could do halo better than bungie anyday.

Even though I don't feel very comfortable with Bungie not doing it, it's better for the franchise. In Halo 3, its like Bungie completely ran out of ideas for the story. It didn't feel like a TRUE end for the trilogy IMO, but it was definitely good.

I think it'll be a good idea to let gearbox do it, seeing as their ports of half-life were excellent and mostly everyone liked them. They also made the port for Halo: CE to PC, which was good as well.

If this is true, then I'm somewhat happy and sad at the same time. But more ideas for the franchise is good, as long as they don't get too lazy(Please...don't.)

halo's field of vision can make someone dizzy...you cant see enough of the gun...the jumping is too floaty and doesnt gain you speed like quake...you cant grenade jump or rocket jump...the jumping slows you down ...you cant time the hand grenades...it has newbie aim assist..the multiplayer maps suck...im sorry halo did everything wrong...

Even my friend who used to play quake 2 online with me on mplayer.com and heat.net he has halo 3/360 we were talking about how much this game sucks compared to quake it's not even funny..picking out so many flaws the other night.primateface

Halo isn't "bad." It's not the greatest and it's overhyped. But in comperison to Cod4 and Gears, Halo 3 is pretty great.

Well people getting dizzy isnt exclusive to Halo, a lot of FPS games do that. Also, you can grenade jump. Oh, and Sidewinder+Hang Em High+Blood Gulch >>>>>>>>>any trash Gearbox map. Why do you think most matches online are on Blood Gulch?

You Xbots aren't very logical are you?... The same Xbots who say they wont buy a PS3 cause "it has no games" are already willing to shell out another $400+ for the Xbox 720 just for Halo 4 and "a few other good titles"... If M$ thinks I'm buying a 720 in the next 3 years they are sadly mistaken... First with their RROD fiasco with the 360 I'm not in any hurry to invest several hundred in another rushed M$ console... Second it's far too early to even think about next gen. consoles yet. Third they better come up with something massively better than Halo 4 to convince me to buy another console cause Halo 3 was hugely overrated...
