Ryse is running at 900p???

PS4 has the memory to handle open world games well. PS3 games are irrelevant.

Wrong. 360 handle open world games better because of the dynamic allocation of memory while PS3 was stuck with 256mb. Cell was a much more powerful CPU than what was in the 360.

Ryse will be running in the full and glorious native resolution of 1080p.

Just kidding, it's going to natively run at 900p and then with the super magical scaling of the Xbox One, it'll run at 1080p!

I don't mean to be that guy but...you're getting an uscaled image either way. Either you have the 360 do the upscaling, or the TV. In your case you are outputting at 720 and allowing your TV to do the upscaling to 1080. Personally, I would allow the source (the 360) to do the upscaling and feed a 1080 signal to your TV so that the TV doesn't need to do any upscaling.

Many TVs have pretty poor scalers (not saying yours does, I don't even know what TV you have), so I always default to feeding the TV a signal at its native resolution. Technically that should always be your best bet.

This gen 1080p should be achieved fairly easily especially when the game is only running at 30fps. Next Dead Rising will be sub-1080p.

Let's see: PS4: - Resogun - 1080p - KZ: SF: 1080p - Knack: 1080p - DriveClub - 1080p - WarFrame: 1080p - Blacklight Retribution: 1080p - InFamous: SS - 1080p - Deep Down - 1080p - Destiny - 1080p Xbox ONE: - Prebakedza 5: 1080p - Ryse: 900p - KI: 720p - Dead Rising: 720p with "dynamic resolution" depending on the circumstances :lol: Anyone who thinks the consoles are close in power must be stupid. :lol:XboxFails
