[QUOTE="SparkyProtocol"]No one cared for Johnson dying in Halo 3? :(stepat201
That was so cheasy and predictable. Black military dude sacrifices himself then says a cheasy line before dying.
Eli's death came out of nowhere and was almost disturbing to watch as he got his brains pulled out of his head.
What does Eli vance have to do with this. Is it because he's black?(j/k)>_> I just felt sad when Johnson died because he was one of my favorite characters in gaming for his stereotypical Sgt. cigar smoking one liner badassery that went on for 6 years. You make it sound like I said it was the biggest death in gaming.[QUOTE="g0ddyX"]
Final Fantasy 7:Crisis Core ending... There would be no cloud if it wasnt for him.. and the music.. not, that this doesnt show the final battle, how can anyone survive from it, and am not gonna spoilt it.
Ive hardly ever cried, but this made a tear fall down uncontrollable, i had to confide to my ex to cheer myself up.
Yeah, i was that bad.Silent-Hal
I actually laughed during Crisis Core's ending. It was so melodramatic it was almost painful >_>
[QUOTE="AdoringFan_"]
You know what I'm talking about guys ^ :(
Silent-Hal
That scene might have been sad if it hadn't been about 30 minutes too long.
It would have been sad if the entire story hadn't been so ludicrously over the top and poorly written.Silent Hill 2 (water ending), Half Life 2 EP.2 (Poor Bill Cosby), Some moments in Final Fantasy Tactics, MGS3 (ending)
"I'd like to go with as little story as possible," he said. "I've always felt that the Mario games themselves aren't particularly suited to having a very heavy story."
"Mr. Koizumi is the type of person who, whenever we're working on a new Mario game, he always wants to bring more story elements into it, as he did with Super Mario Galaxy. But in talking with him this time, he agrees and feels that with Galaxy 2, there won't be a need for as deep of a story," Miyamoto said.
Pretty dissapointing huh? Apparently, Koizumi snuck it in in SMG1.

Now that I think about it in an effort to calm down, a new story would not be as effective as we could expect something to be in there. A continuation of the old would somewhat alienate people who haven't played the first. Even if a continuation were to be included, it can only serve to answer questions from the last and would not be as deep.
Persona 3's ending to The Journey was very sad, and it's the only game to put me near tears. I accidentally read a spoiler for the ending too, and it still nearly made me cry.
No one cared for Johnson dying in Halo 3? :(SparkyProtocolEven though I was upset to see Johnson dying, the scene was so cheesy that I couldn't help but laugh.

my sensitivity died ALONG time ago... when I first discovered Doom. Watch out people, we've got a man here. Prepare to have beer cans crushed against all your pansy foreheads.Am I the only one who found many moments in Tales of Symphonia to be sad? Then again, I'm probably one of like five people on this forum to even have played it..SuperzoneI played it, but it was so long ago that I can barely remember if anything in it was sad. All I remember is that I loved it.
Wow, people actually liked the Princess Rosalina side-story? It was pretty lame, I only went through it because I thought I would get a star if I read all of the chapters..but then I didn't get any star or any reward
What is your avatar? I remember watching that show. Many of the final fantasy games but mostly Crisis Core

MGS3 ending hands down... sad, so sad (yeah reference to the very same game)
MGS4, NOT THE ENDING!!! I think the part when you reach the SM Complex was really nostalgic that made me sad, specially when you trigger the "surveilance camera??" part.
LoZ MM- the sidestory with the 2 lovers finally finding each otherright whenthe moon is about to crash into the Earth(?)
ZOE - when ADA tells Leo how she's destined to be destroyed in order to stop Anubis and Leo swears he won't allow it.
KH ending...

He didn't sacrifice himself, he was shot (Fataly) in the back by 343 Guilty Spark. Sgt. Johnson's death WAS sad IMO.Though I will admit that Half-Life 2: Episode 2's ending was both sad and disturbing.

Really though, I am offended that people keep going "LAWL itz just a cheezee milrty blak guy!:" I don't give a **** He was one of my favorite characters.I agree seeing old snake walking around the crumbling SM complex was depressing. Kojima needs to give him a youth elixir. We need a young Snake back for future installments. Hell, he's not that old in years. Plus, Kojima says every MG is his last with snake.MGS3 ending hands down... sad, so sad (yeah reference to the very same game)

MGS4 @ the graveyard
MGS3 @ the graveyard (and flower field)
End of HL2 Ep. 2
Halfway through SoTC when I realized I was murdering some beautiful creatures.
A certain chapter in VC @ the end of the battle.
quarter way point in the Darkness and again @ the end
All I can think of for now.
to be fair the only game that REMOTELY gave me alittle sadness was FFX ending. A little sad I didn't wuss out or anything.Dweedledude5000Of course not. You're just too much of a manly man for that.
One of the onlygames ive ever felt even a slightly bit sad in was the end of Half Life 2 Episode 2, it really made me want episode 3 too bad its barely even been announced. Shadow Of the Colossus is sad also. Ive never gone beyondsaying"that sucks for them" though.
