Been hearing this since '07. Won't believe it 'til I see it.
Either way, there's enough multi-playforms to make me happy.
Edit: And when a PS3 fanboy lists Bleach as if it were a great exclusive, you know just how good their list is.

Frankly, over the course of E3, GamesCom, TGS, PAX and now the VGAs, setting aside Kinect stuff they've only announced two new games for the 360 - Forza 4 and Codename Kingdoms, which sort of speaks volumes in terms of their current focus.[QUOTE="FIipMode"]Well I was hoping during the VGA's Microsoft would show something but sadly they showed me nada. Yeah there was Forza 4 but it was one of those games you knew was coming but was never announced. I'm a sad panda, MS step your game up.shinrabanshou
I expected that they'd announce at least one game we didn't know about yet today...
Also I'm surprised that whole SW idea about MSFT Game Studios always announcing games super-late hasn't been brought up yet.
Maybe that list of yours FINALLY got through peoples heads :P.gears 3 and forza 4 and kingdoms. vs killzone3 resistance 3 uncharted 3 socom 4 motorstorm 3 twisted metal lolol microsoft need's to step up their game. WHERE'S 360'S NEXT EXCLUSIVE FPS?doom4dukenukem
so with all those game for ps3 and these couple of games for 360 not even mentioning the ones not announced yet, considering forza 3 was just announced.
its about even but leaning on the 360 side quality over quantity folks
Its great that you guys are all amped up over your list, but when are you gonna realize that despite all these supposed PS3 superior exclusives, it doesn't matter? The PS3's biggest problem is the fact thateven though ithas a few good exclusives, they don't appeal to the masses, or at least they don't appeal as much as other games do.
Next year we already know that in addition to your list, games like Batman Arkham City, a new Call of Duty, a new Madden, Elder Scrolls V, Mass Effect 3, Gears 3, Forza 4, Zelda, and LA Noir are being released (every one on which will sell over 2 million for sure). Thats off the top of my head. There is only so much money for gamers to spend, and if you think that the masses are gonna pass up the games i just mentioned to buy the games on your list, then I think you need a wake up call. This is why the 360 continues to outsell the PS3 (with help from Kinect as well)... MS doesn't need 15 exclusives the "out-do" Sony. They just need a handful of quality titles with mass appeal (Halo, Gears, Forza, Fable.) and a smart release schedule, so that their games don't get in the way of each other or in the way of the 3rd party heavy-hitters.
I hope you've learned something.
ArchaoN
Many of those games absolutely appeal to the masses. Particularly the main Sony franchises. Uncharted 3? Little Big Planet? Killzone 3? Those are very much core oriented games that are huge additions to the Sony lineup.
However games like Ico, Last Gaurdian, Ni No kuni, Yakuza, Disgaea 4 will have a more limited appeal outside of the mainstream. However they should be expected to be great games. It's actually a shame that PS3/360 doesn't have MORE unique/niche games like this, particularly from 3rd parties. All the great unique exclusives is what made the PS2 so special, so many "hidden gems" to find that the mainstream never even heard of. That's basically the difference in this gen, and why the console wars are "boring". Because other than 1st party exclusives, they pretty much get the same games. While you're worreid about the "mainstream", I'd rather see more unique games. Lots of them. When this gen starts to slow down and the major developers move on on, it's all about those unique, out of the mainstream games that you will "discover" down the line and go back to play. I hope to god people aren't playing Black Ops 5 years from now.
[QUOTE="kyacat"]I have heard this before is 2007,2008,2009,2010, sorry not going to happen DilrodWell worldwide sales wise, and game of the year wise the PS3 has beaten the 360 in that time span. Just saying i wasnt aware the ps3 already passed the 360
is last guardian confirmed and has an actual date for 2011?
coz i think i've only seen one trailer of the game so far.
sales wise, i doubt those ps3 exclusives has a chance except uncharted 3.
I do believe that last guardian is suppose to be release hoilday 2011[QUOTE="BobbyQBobby"][QUOTE="theuncharted34"]
it's nice that you are enjoying those sales.
Well I'm enjoying the games on the 360, and I guess, by the sales, that there are alot more people like me.this is sad news indeed.
I guess for U, I would agree completely. Thank GOD u are minority. LOL[QUOTE="ycole11"][QUOTE="kyacat"]I have heard this before is 2007,2008,2009,2010, sorry not going to happen WilliamRLBakerPS3 did dominate 2009 though. dominate and destroyed are 2 different things...destroyed as in its gonna stop selling, the ps3 will outsell it...etc Cows have been promising for 5 years this would happen.
PS3 had a good year in 2009. Personally, I only picked up 2 exclusives that year and next year I will only be picking up a couple also. All I'm saying is that compared to the competition it looks like the PS3 is going to have a better 2011 similar to 2009. However that is just a matter of opinion I guess.
other than Uncharted and Infamous, those games dont interest me. we will have to wait and see if the general public have any interest in these as well. judging by the ps3's recent sales numbers, the general public can really care less about the ps3. maybe some of those will be system sellers? or maybe not
Not my 360. It'll be playing Gears 3, Arkham City, and Mortal Kombat - minus Kratos :-(
I'm a 360 owner but I'm very impressed by PS3's line up next year, hopefully my cousins get some of those exclusives, but other than Uncharted 3 those games aren't interesting to the people I know.
Like the Joker in AA, I doubt it will make much of a difference. Not my 360. It'll be playing Gears 3, Arkham City, and Mortal Kombat - minus Kratos :-(

But it's cool to have a bonus character.
MK is on top of my "to-get" list for 2011. So it'd be cool if they had a bonus character for 360. (namely a Killer Instinct character...)
Same old lies, same old predictions, same old lists and same old statements that turn out to be wrong year after year.
Everyone knows by know Microsoft never focuses on next year's games this early. They always focus on short term. By E3 the 360's list will have filled like always.
I'm going to bet there will be at least 3-5 Kinect big hitters and 3-5 360 big hitters announced at E3 that will make their releases next fall.

PS: Safe to say that Gears of War 3 will be the biggest commercial success compared to those PS3 games besting any game on that list by a good margin.
Could you have any more filler in that list? I mean you even had FF14 on there... lolJus' saying :P

Yes, yes it will! Sony will stomp M$ into the ground and by then the PSN will have another firmware update that gets the only couple features that LIVE has over it right now: Cross game chat/party chat and cross game invites. After that it will be ALL over!
RON PAUL FOR 2012
Yes Twisted Metal actually has been a AAA franchise. Twisted Metal Black for example received a 9.5 http://www.gamespot.com/ps2/action/twistedmetalblack/index.html?tag=result;title;0[QUOTE="Easyle"][QUOTE="Grawse"]Yeah how many of those are AA. I`ll leave if KZ3 gets anything higher than an 8.5. It looks virtually the same as KZ2. Just like AC2 to Brotherhood. Has Twisted Metal ever been an AAA franchise? InFamous and R2 were lucky to muster a AAA here because they are mid AA on MC. Uncharted 3 and LBP are locks for AAA.

Forza 4 was actually announced at E3; it's just nobody really cares because the kinect demo looked kinda bad for it, so hopefully it will control well. Well I definitely think the PS3 list is a lot better than the Xbox one I won't predict that it will destroy the it. I think Sony needs to make sure not to release too many games at one time as sales will suffer some. Though from the list I will buy UC3, KZ2, TLG, R&C all 4 one, and R3. The only game I might get for the 360 is GEOW 3 and I will probably wait to get that until it falls below $30. Now ME3 and UC3 are my most anticipated games next year. Well TLG is on there also but I do think that game might get delayed.

You should get a mod to sticky that as that myth is constantly being brought up. A mod should make a mythbusting sticky.
As the gen progresses, dev time, and consequently the time between announcement and release continues to get shorter, so more games and franchises move from the red to the orange, and from the orange to the green. You should get a mod to sticky that as that myth is constantly being brought up. But that goes for all publishers and platform holders.
And I have a hard time seeing when exactly MS would be able to announce any more titles for Q1 and Q2 of 2011, and a hard time believing they're holding back a ton of announcements to release games in Q3. Q3 is a possibility if announcements are made at GDC, and Q4 is a possibility for release of E3 announcements, but even then less than 6 months between announcement and release for anyone but Nintendo is a very scarce occurrence, and even if they are announced that's a long gap between now and Q3/4.
I own both consoles so next year will be a good year. Except for the fact I have no interest in forza 4 or Gears 3(won't pick it up a price drop hits)

Very true. I wonder how that myth came up anyways that people actually believe MS releases the majority of their games in the same year as they announced them.
R3 and U3 are the only 2 games from that list ill probably buy....so no the 360 will be finebigboss5ak
You do not make up the majority of gamers. Why do you think you only liking 2 games the TC listed change the fact that the rest are CLEARLY going to be successful, and more then likely will be high scoring games?
Cows need to stop talking about how good their games are going to be and actually buy them.
I remember how they hyped up Killzone 2, Resistence 2, Haze etc
Average games that dissapeared into obsecurity with just okay sales.

2-4 million copies sold are just "okay" sales? I wonder what world you live in.....
exclusive-wise of course. the ps3 has some major, major games dropping next year, i only care for a few of them but that's just me. MS needs to step their game up...
...either way, i win.
