Hahaha... No games are looked down upon because they are seen as children's playthings. Hell, they are called video games, for cripes sake. That could be your first major hurdle for it to become "legitimate".

If you want to make that argument, you'd have to ignore the other forms of entertainment that do also have humor in them, namely TV, Music, Movies, Art, Books, etc...

Wooow, I'm impressed. I might actually pick this game up now.

This might sound fanboyish, but I am so attatched to the GTA franchise that I dont know if I could have as much fun playing this game knowing it's a complete GTA rip off as I would if this game was actually a GTA game. Well, that is fanboyish really, lol.

One thing I like about it is it looks like it has that "whacky" GTA vibe that Rockstar dropped this generation. The new GTA IV was almost too serious.

the potential is there.

I like the place its heading. It seems like gta4 was going for realism so they took the edge of the series. Saints Row 2 seams to be going the other way.
