Scariest game ever, across all platforms, and all generations!

Clive Barkers Undying. If you're a PC Gamer, you should own this game.

On consoles, I'd say the closest thing to a scary game I've played is REmake.

Fatal Frame 2 and Silent Hill 2 are by far the scariest games to ever hit any console, not only that but they were good games as well.mexicangordo

The first residentevil was also pretty scary at the time.

I remember my brother walking down the police station hall when he passed those boarded up doors and all the arms grabbed Leon. Scariest moment ever.

Out of nowhere, they just launched at him. Everyone in the room was quiet beforehand, but talking a little bit, and then BAM.
Everyone jumps and I nearly wet my pants.

same i played it at my freinds house i was epecially afraid when the video came and one of the flodd jumped on one of your soldiers and ate him alive. scary times

I've never played any true "horror" genre games, but I know that Metroid Prime can make you feel apprehensive and claustrophobic. I think it's because of the way that the helmet curves in around the screen, making you feel confined. I'm going to eventually pick up RE4 for the Wii, and see what a truly scary game is.Tylendal

Good luck, RE4 is the least scariest of the series.

I remember when I was little,my brother bought Fatal Frame 1, it was the scariest game I've seen played (of course I didnt have the guts to play it by myself), RE and Silent hill was nothing compared to that game, and the scariest part was that it had "Based on a true story"written on the cover . Scary times.....(we still have the game but I'm too much of a chicken to play it) .

Fatal Frame takes the cake EASILY! Silent Hill 2 is a close second.

I DARE somebody to say Resident Evil 4. The resident evil games are not scary AT ALL! They are great games, but they're not scary.

HAHA Gundam on PS 3 good one. Resident Evil 1 was pretty scary when I was younger. When the dogs would jump out of the windows. Then you had that little girl who was turned into a monster by Umbrella corporation. Those bastards.

Then Resident Evil 2 took it to another level. Great games =).

S**T dude. I started playing the game, but then I was too chicken to even go inside the house, LOL. I youtube'd it, and I was even afraid to watch the video.
