Sony and Nintendo both have excellent 1st parties. That is the reason why Nintendo is still around, and probably the reason why Sony is too. Microsoft has so much 3rd party support, it makes up, almost all the games. I'd hate to see the day when 3rd parties leave Microsoft. Microsoft probablydepends on them.

I think Sony has the Best and Most Original IP games this Gen and the entire Industry.

For starters, they've made the most NEW games anyone has seen. While I agree Wii and Microsoft have given a great sampling of NEW IPs this gen (WiiSports, Gears), they aren't nearly as many NEW Ips from them.

And keep in mind I'm talking NEW.

Best Original IP's, Best IP's, and Most Original IP's are totally different things.

For starters, they've made the most NEW games anyone has seen. While I agree Wii and Microsoft have given a great sampling of NEW IPs this gen (WiiSports, Gears), they aren't nearly as many NEW Ips from them. There's made and then there's contracted to make. Others have already pointed out which ones are actually made by Sony and which aren't so there's no need for me to repeat.

Milked: To have to pay for something that should've been included free in the first place e.g 4-player support on the PS2.

Developers like Nintendo (and it's subdivisions like EAD), Blizzard, and Valve, what many consider to be the top 3 developers in the industry, all rely a lot on their existing IP's but no one in the world would consider them to be milking their franchises.

Now if you're going to argue that games should be free then...
