Yeah there are a bunch of stages that require a lot more movement and not enough room to spawn anything cool, why would it be so hard to put D-Pad to movement? Could have made it like: hold R and move to just move the camera, or just leave it to the other buttons..

yea, dpad for moving would be a huge help to the game. still a fun game though, its just annoying to try and tap something only to run off a ledge to your death.
Ya seems like without the control problem this would've been AAA, shame. Still, scoringan 8 with such a huge flaw in it's control must mean the game is pretty darn nice
they should be ashamed in giving the game "game of the show" at E3 instead of Uncharted 2....

Why? Shouldn't the game that gets the most buzz at the show be declared Game of the Show? E3 is not a show where you can judge the final product, but, rather, a show where you can see the potential of upcoming games.
Scribblenauts had the most potential. Therefore, it was Game of the Show.

Control issues are very overrated. How does everyone fail to notice the wonky physics, inconsistent combat, blatant restrictions, irksome camera etc. etc.? Why are their issues with the controls, an issue which is very rarely any serious and never a crushing blow?
Guess I can agree with the score somewhat. Great game, could be better. Just a silly review. The game doesn't force you to be creative? Come on!
Oh well it's still a good game for those that like it.

wow, and I was hoping to get this. oh well, glad I didn't waste my money on it! 8.0 is far below my standards. I prefer AAAAE games, anyone know any? [/troll] doesn't matter, I still plan on playing it, looks fun.
