Obviously the control issues weren't bad enough to warrant below an 8. Besides, Scribblenauts still delivered on it's premise, even if it slipped up on the UI.

technically a flop by very little, only 1 point.

when GT Mobile gets reviewed, man thats going to be brutal. AAAe hyped game that may not get A at all. We'll forget about Scribble getting an 8.0 instead of 9.0 once GT mobile gets a 6.5 or someting instead of a 9

additionally, this is just another of the 30 or so good games this year on DS that the psp simply can't compete with, as PSP barely has 10 games worth playing this year (not my opinoin but the critics opinions)

I really do not understand the hype and appeal of this game, but at least Scribblenauts did not get a 7.0.

If Scribblenauts did not get at least 9.0 on GameSpot, then Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story has a better chance. I am still waiting for GameSpot's and Gametrailers.com's review for the latter.

I bought it today, took it home, and just played it for 2 hours straigh, I looked up and the clock and was like.. woh! where did the time just go? I absolutely love this game. With this and mario and luigi the ds is have a way better month than any of the consoles

IMO, a game considered by many to be THE GotY flopping, sounds like a big flop to me.

How is that logical? Easy. Scribblenaunts has become the "Spore" of 2009. For Spore, the hype was AAA and game of the year -- yet received an 8.0. And, in that regard was considered the biggest flop of 2008.

Scibblenaunts had hype similar to that of Spore, and in that regard earns it the biggest flop of 2009.
