[QUOTE="locopatho"][QUOTE="jalexbrown"]I don't know if they're epic, but these are the single-player, non-shooter, PS3-exclusives I can remember: Infamous Demon's Souls (it had online, but it was also entirely satisfying without playing it online) White Knight Chronicles (see above) Heavy Rain Metal Gear Solid 4 (because I know some lemming would argue if you called Splinter Cell a shooter) Valkyria Chronicles Heavenly Sword God of War 3 (coming) I considered putting Uncharted 1/2 on here, but lemmings would argue that it was a shooter, so it just wasn't worth the trouble. Anyways, I'm sure I'm still missing some exclusives, and that's more variety than the 360 offers in exclusives. I also skipped on exclusives not out yet except for God of War 3, because it comes out next month.jalexbrown
I didn't actually think shooters were excluded, but regardless it's still pretty even, Gears cancels out Uncharted, Halo cancels out Killzone, etc.
As for non shooters, there's Saint's Row, Dead Rising, Lost Odyssey(plus several more JRPGs I haven't played...), Mass Effect, Mass Effect 2, Kameo, Banjo, Viva Pinata, Viva Pinata 2, Crackdown, Fable 2, Ace Combat,Forza, PGR,etc. It all seems very even to me.
Dead Rising, Last Remnant (one of those JRPGs you've never played...not very good, by the way), Mass Effect 1/2, and Viva Pinata aren't exclusive. Infamous, Demon's Souls, HeavyRain, and Valkyria Chronices - at the very least - are four games of which I can think that have no 360 alternatives. Is the argument. "The PS3 has more epc single player games" Or is it "The PS3 has more exclusive singe player games"
ME, Viva Pinata etc are on the 360 too, they are part of it's library. If the 360 had a library 100% made up of shooters, but it's only exclusive game was a puzzler, would it be a puzzler console?
