Off course the games and online service is better, PS4 will be pissed on for the first 3 years minimum, just like last gen... TC, be patient, wait for the reviews to claim ownage. Saying anything negative about PS4 or positive about X1 will drown you in cow dung, the only way a cow can debate.

From someone who has been almost strictly XBOX and XBOX 360, I have to say that the PS4 is simply the better buy at launch. Ultimately the $100 difference in price, the optional camera and better hardware ultimately made the PS4 my choice. Killzone and Drive Club will be enough for me in the exclusives department until Second Son comes out. Plus Ill have all of the great multiplats as well. XBOX ONE will find its way inmto my house eventually providing that Titanfall, Fable Legends and Quantum Break live up to their billing! But none of those will be out until this time next year, so the PS4 is the one for me!!

So indie games are not games according to you, even though some of the best games of the last 2 years were indie games. Get outta here!!!

PS4 has cheaper online and you haven't used either. PSN+ was better than Live this gen. I don't see why it would be different next gen.

All of the hands on videos I've seen have praised the dualshock 4, saying it's far superior to the Xbox One controller which is actually worse than the 360 controller. Also, AA batteries and rechargeables sold separately? Come on.

The launch line up argument is a joke. Titanfall is multiplat and Killzone looks good. Not to mention, no system has ever measured its success based on a launch line up. Do we compare perfect dark zero to resistance fall of man to determine if the ps3 is better than the 360?

PS4 murders the Xbox One in every conceivable way. This will be the very first time in any generation dating back to the 3rd gen (NES) that I will not buy a major console.

Dead rising 3 slightly (DR 1 was the best, DR2 sucked), only because I love zombies....but I can live without it. The damn series isn't even about Frank West anymore, so what's the point.

2. No it doesn't, I've looked up both and cheapest possible price for both is 5$ a month if you buy the prepaid cards on Amazon. PSN+ gave value but it means little because the actual performance of PSN is abysmal. The only argument you can make is that you get free games all at the cost of atrocious download and installation speeds, a horrible user interface and having to download and install numerous patches and even demos, terrible friends list and even worse match making, or having to sync trophies to compare them.

Now Sony may gain notable improvement with PSN+ now that it's charging but they're still going to play catch up to Microsoft given how bad the Japanese are with software and networking, unless they outsource PSN+ maintenance.

Make no mistake, There are plenty of people who prefer the DS4, if anything the XB1 will be better for shooters and DS4 better for fighting games, this is coming from someone who played all of his fighting games on the PS3.

Seems my suspicions were right. I knew the XBOX ONE controller would most likely be better than the PS4 controller. Microsoft has always made the best gamepad controllers.

It's just a matter of preference, there are even avid COD fans that prefer the DS3 or Tekken players that like the 360 controller, I'm the complete opposite of that.

I said no such thing. Of course they are games, they are mostly old games that can be played on PC and as has been said billions of times on these forums about Titanfall, games available on PC aren't allowed to be considered.

I agree the xbox has the better launch line up, but I think ps plus is a better value. Look at the free games that they give out compared to Xbox live's Halo 3 and Assassins Creed 2. Those games are ancient.

I agree kinect is more features than ps eye etc. measure heartbeat. But I did't see this features are useful in gaming or improve the gameplay. At least I didn't see it in kinect tech demo or in kinect game demo. And all these features seems more useful on advertising . But when I watch the ps eye demo, I feel that ps eye is really designed for gamer. But kinect 2 is designed for advertiser and NSA.

Kinect was designed for the casuals that were buying up the Wii.

There does seem to be many areas the X1 will have a clear advantage.

1: Both launch lineups have underwhelming exclusives. Personally, I think Infamous: SS looks the most interesting out of the bunch.

2: It's an unknown and you're being subjective.

1)Take the indie games out then, i can say sony will have the better array of first party games because of history, wow xbox one has a couple of half hitter games coming out a launch, what about after launch, we already know 3quarters of sony's first party developers are working on ps4 games, which haven't been announced, and yet we already know microsoft has halo coming and a fable online game, same as normal nothing new, sony wins hands down for games, stop being so short minded, this is a marathon not a sprint.

all you have to look at is the last 2years xbox 360 is gone now nothing new and yet sony keeps bringing them out, at least sony looks after there console for the duration microsoft on the other hand have jumped ships, xbox 360 customers really don't have a choice it's either stick with the 360 which has no games or move on.

2) Xbox live gave you online and party chat, please explain to me what you actually got for what you had to pay for? i mean seriously ps3's online wasn't all full of junk, it gave me exactly what i needed, for free, which was online gaming???? they then introduce a pay scheme in which you got free games every month, of which free games were very well scored here on gamespot and at the same time was 10dollars cheaper, this also got you very good discount on other games and exclusive beta games. so explain to me what xbox live gives me for the extra money?? when most of xbox's services are still behind that paywall, ps4's stuff will still be accesible without paying anything.

Probably a better and more reliable online network, they also have more money that they are able to spend.

the difference and what makes the whole thing sad is HOW you watch tv on the xbox. You still need your cable box and you just plug that in and overlay the Xbox interface. Why bother wasting extra electricity just to give voice commands to change the channel?
