Seriously, let's look at how the XBOX ONE is better than PS4

Although I like both the PS4 and the Xbox One and I have respect for the Xbox One, all of the opinions you made on why you feel the Xbox One is better, is how I feel about the PS4. I feel like the Xbox One does not have value, despite liking it just as much as the PS4.

i have to agree . the Xbox One is just better in every way.

How about the Ps4 games are 40-50 GB a piece install and you can only hold 8-9 games on the supplied Hard drive? eek.

I think the Xbox one has a far better UI, that's the most next gen thing I've seen come out from any system, makes any other UI in existence look like rubbish.

The initial games look to be far better on the xbox one as well, well for a more wider audience than just FPS fans.

Ps4 has the price advantage, Killzone, expandable internal Hdd, that's about all.

What they play at launch? Ryse? hehe... their most interesting game looks to be Dead Rising 3 at 720p 20-30 fps, last gen style. Maybe inferior multiplats like COD and BF?

I much rather play Killzone Shadow Fall and play competitive online.

Well most of the multiplatform games on both systems I would just get for my pc, for me the xbox one software inside the box has me more interested in it, the UI looks to be miles above the Ps4's (though thanks to Sony no one really has seen much), the tech excites me a lot more than what Sony is offering, plus I have not owned a Xbox product before, so there is always the want for something different, as I'd only be missing out on Sony exclusives (God of War old tired now, Killzone 3 I hated, Infamous 2 character change turned me off, Resistance was crap, Never liked Mgs, loved Heavy Rain,Ratchet and Clank and Uncharted though UC3 was horrible).

So in my case, I have all the Xbox exclusives to look forward to, even if it is Halo 6 or whatever, I've never played a Halo game seriously before, neither Forza, Gears, Titanfall, or used Xbox live. New is always more exciting than sticking with the same old.

Yes you hate all Sony exclusive ok. They will continue to get high rating and i will continue to buy them ^_^

BTW PS4 has double the games in development and lots of new exclusive IP's from the Order 1886 to Guerrilas new IP :) so yes enjoy forza and halo, X1 not getting much else lol

I hate the exclusives because they have been getting worse with each one coming out. Meaning it's time for a change for me. Who knows, I'm waiting to see if Microsoft has learned from making bad hardware before I jump in and buy a xbox one, by that time, the ps4 may have won me over. As you can see, I don't belong to any system wars faction, unless manticore still exists.

it isn't a contradiction, you cannot judge the on line as non of the systems are out yet. i say microsoft have been better because they are a company who run windows and internet based software :S Sony are an electrical company who make TV's, Hi-Fi, Movies, so Microsoft have the advantage, but you cannot judge come out and say there online will be better they aren't out.

That's down to the developers themselves there shouldn't be a frame rate issue, thats just the laziness of the developers not taking the time to sort it, but this is my case COD is massive on Xbox thats a known fact so they sort that out but the resolution down to 720p this in turn sorts frame rate they then upscale it and it's ok, work more on Xbox One as for them with history is where the fanbase is more, they then throw together it for ps4 and don't take their time and it has some frame rate issues which can be fixed by a patch if they need to, changing it from 720p to 1080p cannot be done so will see.

Xboix One Controller isn't miles better it's a personal preference and there have been lots of people on record have said they liked the PS4 controller better

Well Xbox One is having the same problem that the PS3 had, it's trying to incorporate the ram it has for games and then the eram aswell and it is becoming tricky. the fact remains COD is native 1080p as the first launch game and Xbox One is 720p upscaled in anyone's eyes and people who use logic over the course of the console life PS4 is on a High starting point, and Xbox One is on a low starting point.

But we all know your a little child when you start throwing around "you PS4 Fanboy" and yet your the one making the immature remarks.

Another little kid who probably will be getting his parents to buy an Xbox One and cannot understand that a launch line up means nothing and logical people will know that Sony have the best form getting Exclusives out, funny you go on about indie games and yet Xbox 360 fanboys were going on about all these great indie games all gen and some of the best games rated xbox exclusives were indie games, yea all right little boy jog on.

did you try the ds4? way better than the old ones.

Reasons for owning an Xb1:

- won the most awards for exclusive games E3

- More functionality

- Better online

To sum up this thread.....the only advantage to purchasing the X1 is spending more money which helps the economy.

X1 is the better and most "next Gen" console because:

game franchises I enjoy and has more exclusives out of the gate.

XBL is a proven online powerhouse that is only getting better with the Azure network and 300 thousand dedicated servers free for all devs to use

Kinect is evolving game play whether some want to admit it or not. All games can now use it since it is included.

Multimedia features are far and away better than the competition. Voice control, snap, Skype, TV function with custom profile setting, suspend and resume, fantasy integration, and so on.

Cows have a LOT of opinions as well that they try to pass off as FACT. Just about every here in SW is opinion when it comes to PS4 & XB1. Seems everyone has their own crystal balls and believe them 100%. lol!!

1. As a whole, it's subjective really. PS4 has more games coming out overall, but XB1 has more quality exclusives. If you're going with exclusives along, the XB1 has the PS4 beat.

2. Can't say because we haven't seen Sony's online service in action yet. We haven't seen what Microsoft's 300K dedicated servers can do yet. Can't say this is a fact at all.

3. The controller debate is subjective. Everyone has their own feel and preference, so there's no fact here either. We all know the PS4 DS4 is superior to the DS3. the Xbox 360 vs the XB1 controller is still up for debate.

4. From what we know of the PS4 camera, it can't do everything the Kinect can do. It's not as powerful as the Kinect and Sony isn't even using in the same way as Kinect. They are just now trying to as voice commands to turn the PS4 on and off. lol!! At this moment the Kinect is definitely superior to PS4 camera.

forgot to put "imo" or "for me" at the front. BUT everything I said is true technically. Games I like are on it. XBL is proven and can only be better. Kinect is evolving. Multimedia options are more plentiful.

That's fine....you're allowed to have an opinion. But they you go and try to make it "technically true". It's not. First off.....you can't compare XBL with PSN for the next generation until they are both out and functioning. That's kind of how facts work. Same with Kinect....what does evolving mean? Not much until it's implementation. You might say you are interested in where Kinect is going. But you can't list it as technically true that Kinect makes the X1 better. Also with multimedia options.

Extras are nice I suppose. But I'd rather have a less expensive gaming system than something trying to do everything and not doing the games better. I can purchase other multimedia products if I so desire. There really isn't anything that X1 is adding that wows me.

In fact...having to pay to use Netflix etc on the X1 is a negative to me. I can agree with paying to play multiplayer games....they require servers etc and costs do get passed on. But paying to watch a youtube video is ridiculous.

What you see as good....I see as bad. We shall have to disagree.

How about this:

You prefer the games on the XB1. Boom, the XB1 is now a better console.

Of course if you prefer games on the PS4, the PS4 is now a better console.

1. PS4 is more powerful; 150% more powerful GPU, better GDDR5 RAM, upgradable HDD vs X1s GDDR3 RAM, less GPU power, can't upgrade internal HDD.

2. PS4's DS4 comes built in rechargable and X1's doesn't.

3. PSN has been completely overhauled to be as good as Xlive.

4. Games on PS4 are great and will have more great games than X1 over it's life cycle.

5. PS4's camera and X1's camera are equal.

6. PS4 is $100 less and didn't try to force DRM, mandatory camera, no renting games, and used game fees.

I never held a ps3 controller for longer than an hour. I've had xbox 360 since launch. Tony Hawk Pro Skater proves at least the ps2 controller is a lot better than xbox 360. The ps2 controller was a lot easier to hit diagonal controls than the xbox 360.

I could do 10mil combos on Tony Hawk American Wasteland for ps2. on 360 i could barely hit a mil because of the awful controller.

1) Both launch line-ups are lackluster to say the least so let's not act as if either has the advantage.
2) You're probably right but we'll see if things get better for PSN in the next-gen.
3) I don't know about the One's controller but I bought a DS4 the other day it's pretty amazing.
4) Better camera? Really? This literally means nothing in terms of games. In fact, it detracts from the One as Kinect games/integration are garbage in my experience.

So, that's one clear advantage for the One. Whoopty-freakin'-do. Games are what determines the quality of a GAMING console and while the launch line-ups leave much to be desired, it's my opinion that the PS4 has better games coming in the future.
