My brother is buying it, and he only has a PS3...
I'm sure we'll manage.

[QUOTE="PAL360"][QUOTE="FirstDiscovery"]I bet if it was the other way round it would be proof that the PS3 is more powerful But offcourse, Cows will dismiss this:roll:heretrix
Of course! Hundreds of games look better on 360 than on PS3 but Killzone2 is the proof that PS3 is superior! "cows"
LMAO. Hundreds? surely you jest.I mean, I really hope you are joking.
Well....actually its true! Theres 4 or 5 multiplats that looks exactly the same (the ones using the PS3 as lead platform) but by a small margin or not ALL the other multiplats look better on 360. Some fanboys like to say that this problem is solved but latest games like Skate2, Fear2, Resident Evil 5, Street Fighter 4 prove they are wrong ;)
So Eurogamer says the PS3 version has a measurable drop in image quality, then later says the difference between the two is the load times, of which are completely negated by the optional install...okUptown
Fanboys likes the TC reach out for anything to say "My version is better PFFFT". In the end it doesint make any difference in gameplay itself and the game still looks great. THats all that matters.

Doesn't change the fact that it is superior looking than anything on the 360 "lemming".[QUOTE="heretrix"][QUOTE="PAL360"]LMAO. Hundreds? surely you jest.Of course! Hundreds of games look better on 360 than on PS3 but Killzone2 is the proof that PS3 is superior! "cows"

The differences are neglible in SF4, RE5 isn't out yet so no comparison should be made. Higher profile multi-plat releases are pretty much the same, it's the smaller studios who don't have a budget to put extra people on the PS3 development that struggle to put out equal quality games.

ok. feel better now?
idk but the PS3 version looks like it has deeper colors. The PS3 version has better shadows to. Nonstop-Madness
according to you
yeah the 360 verison is suppose to be different according to the devs too, just like cod4 was different on ps3 and 360 when the game is in action.
Heck who here can tell me which system each of these screens are from:
if u can't tell which screen is from which system, stop whining about and just accept they both look good even if one is better then the other....however slightly it may be.
If Killzone 2 can have graphics the 360 can't top
We won't know this until the end of this gen though:|
Didn't you know? Everyone on System Wars is a certified game developer. Don't forget professional psychic.[QUOTE="Nonstop-Madness"]idk but the PS3 version looks like it has deeper colors. The PS3 version has better shadows to. EndorphinMaster

Yeah and other reviews have stated the game looks virtually the same, if the difference is so notable as this guy makes it to be how come that didn't affect the review score? Face it the game is virtually visually identical.

If Killzone 2 can have graphics the 360 can't top then that's all you need to say the PS3 is superior graphically.
Of course you'd have to think that KZ2 graphics are the best console graphics to date... Which a lot of people seem to do.
yeah, its amazing what you can do when you develope a game for 4 years!

Working for a trustable source doesnt really make you trustable.

difference: too human was supposed to be developed for several different consoles starting with the ps1, unlike kz2.

Too Human, anyone? Too Human went from PS1 to N64 to Gamecube to Xbox and finally Xbox 360, the graphics would get better with each console but it wasn't developed on the 360 for a long time, it's like 2-3 years on 360 I think.[QUOTE="nervmeister"][QUOTE="ogvampire"]Too Human, anyone? Screw image quality, gameplay is much more important. If I had a PS3 I'd get the game for that system because of the d pad. The d pad on the 360 controller is terrible for fighting games.Bigboi500
Anyone who uses a PS3 or a 360 controller for a fighting game isn't serious about it anyway so your point is Moot..

your kidding right? pros from japan use the DS3 with the directional pads 360s dpads are horrid in comparsion.
I've played it on both and there is no difference in any way shape or form. This is a case of the developer liking one system over another and it has nothing to do with performance. However the PS3 controller has a better D-pad and it's easier for me on PS3.

Yes because people can't play it casually for fun and must strive to be tournament champions to be worshipped by gaming geeks everywhere...it's the law. It's the only way the game can be enjoyed.[QUOTE="Bigboi500"]Screw image quality, gameplay is much more important. If I had a PS3 I'd get the game for that system because of the d pad. It seems you only copy what people say and don't know much yourself, the PS3's gamepad is fine and it is used by pros.[QUOTE="LibertySaint"]yeah the 360 verison is suppose to be different according to the devs too, just like cod4 was different on ps3 and 360 when the game is in action.

I also found this bit interesting: [quote="Eurogamer"]It all comes down to bandwidth - the amount of data that can stream in and out of the graphics chip at any given point. RSX can handle 22GB/s of data, but the 7900GS trumps it with double that. This all suggests that Capcom maximised the strengths of the 7900GS and the lack of bandwidth hurts the PS3 conversion. Transparent textures in particular require a ton of bandwidth. On Xbox 360, this isn't really an issue, most likely due to the 10MB of RAM directly connected to the Xenos graphics chip, which as an effective speed of a staggering 256GB/s.musicalmacIt's interesting hearing it come from a reputable source, and not a random blog. To hear what? That a game dev'd on one console using its strengths and trying that same development on a console with different hardware gives you a lesser quality product? Yeah, we really needed confirmation on that. Otherwise you're trying to use this as form of proof that PS3 can't do what 360 does. And we know that as false due to the exclusive titles made specifically for the system.
When will this kind of utter bologna ever end?! It was stated like 6-7 months ago that developers had come to a point that they would be making multi-plats identical for each system since they all had become completely familiar with the PS3 hardware and how to develope for it. I've read this like 4-5 times on gaming sites. There is extremely little to no difference any more!!!patriots7672The loading times are 2x as much on the PS3 though.

No there's not! There's an initial 2gb install on PS3 that takes like 45 seconds and this makes them the same. That's the only difference other than the PS3s D-pad is a lot better.
