Really? I barely saw anyone talk about it. Well I remember seeing quite a bit of hype especially when the reviews started to come in. I think many people were expecting a 9 at least.
wat a suprise, while all the other sites give the game near perfect (or in giantbombs case perfect) scores, gamespot doesnt even give it triple A :lol:

I did see this game getting discussed but it was being a great exclusive. I only see a couple of Lemming trying to hype it to AAA but there are always a couple of fanboys for every game that trys to hype it to AAA.
I dont think it was a flop butwould say 8.5 is good score. I've played and loved lots of games that score a 8.5. For this type of game i would have suprised if it did get any better than a 8.5.

really? ive only noticed about 2-3 threads in the past couple of days. 1 was about ign score, the other 2 were about several scores from different websites.

:lol: No. We're going to nip this in the bud right now. There was an official hype thread which I voted AAA, but the majority was AA. So let's get that out the way. I have played for an hour or so, and so far it's awesome, no complaints.
So can we declare it a flop and laugh at the lemms :P

It didn't flop. And you can't laugh when it's better than any PSN games released so far. Are we talking score-wise? If so then Comet Crash says no. Opinion-wise is entirely subjective of course.

cant wait to finish work in 40 min and get home and download this. maybe it will stop me constantly playing Trails HD, man some of those later courses are tuff

Example of a flop: Fat Princess. The hype on that game was as big if not bigger than Shadow Complex one. At least Shadow Complex reach its AA hype here and is still AAA everywhere else :P

Here Comet Crash outscored it. Over all sites and reviewers, Shadow Complex is higher rated. And if you read the text of the review, especially the last line, the 8.5 score seems very harsh. I knew it was only going to be AA here. That's what I voted in the hype thread. GS seems to hate giving high scores to XBLA games now.

GS seems to hate giving high scores to XBLA games now. You think that's bad? There are a handful of PSN titles always stuck in the 7.5 range. WipeOut HD is the most criminally underscored one of them all. That game easily deserved an 8.5
I'm going through the challenge rooms now. People who like to get their asses handed to them with really tough challenges like those in Bioinc commando rearmed will love this. I've pretty much hit my limit with "Missle Cavity" in challenge pack 3.
