Sheep, mind telling me why you're playing sales?

OK, before I get flamed out of my mind--Super Mario Galaxy, SSBB, and Mario Kart Wii are amazing games that everyone should play, and Nintendo is the most consistantly good dev out there.

But I can't ignore it anymore.

Some sheep are saying that since their console is selling the most, it's the best, and forgetting how, last year, they boasted how, thanks to sales, the Wii would get amazing 3rd party games, and when someone mentions how much showelware the Wii gets, they mention SMG, or the Nintendo games. Are you sure that's going to upset the numerous half-a$$ed attempts at money-making? I mean, you guys get this:

These games are the norm of the average Wii game, and no amount of good Nintendo games will upset it, when, for every good Nintendo game, there's about 10-20 crappy games.

the wii is doing PC gamers a favor they putting the ps3 and 360 deeper and deeper in the hole. That ia a good thing too. I hope that sony and micro soft lauch their new console soon too so they can go deeper into the hole.blackdreamhunk

True enough, but that's just system wars for you. Cows loved last gen because PS2 squashed the competition in sales, despite the fact that so many GC games won GOTY. Every group looks for their own victories in the end.

And BTW, I loved the game for the somewhat demanding difficulty and the motion controls were fun to use.

The PC only has one more AA+ title this year so far than the Wii.

And to answer your question I just completed Strongbad and still play SSBB and Mario Kart on my Wi.

A side note I also just completed Lost Planet and now working on Kameo on my 360.

It called having more than one game system.

The difference though is that it had alot of good first and third pary support. While the Wii really only has good first party and pitiful third party support.

Besides, the best selling third party games arent the ambitious ones(and please don't play the RE4 card. Porting three year old games is not the deffinition of ambitious). You know, the good ones. The ones gamers actually give a crap about.

That's basically 50% comments thrown at the Wii when sheep use sales as their defense.

And none of the wii games the TC posted sold over 1 million, not even 100k. Except Red Steel, but that was hyped to death and thrown around as the best thing since sliced bread.

I don't really feel like playing the list thing and proving myself with links, right now just taking a minute from Kameo. But there are many 3rd party games that sold better than expect that were not just million seller. A couple off the top of my head Zack & Wikki and No More Hero's.

So, "Nintendo"g66. Did you know that 32.54% of the Wii's library (critically) has scored above 69.999%? That means a whopping 67.46% of Wii games score... according to the US grading scale -- an D or an F. Hard to NOT notice those games, eh chap?

Same goes for the wii. Almost every single crap game on the wii has flopped in sales. Carnival games did not, but it's only average, not crap. Same for red steel. There is much much worse on the wii and none of it sold well.

Spiderman 3 though is a terrible game along with iron man...both were million sellers on the PS3 and 360.

You would not know the outcome of the Wii's sales yet. Good games take 2 to 3 years to come out. Many 3rd party companies were caught off guard by the Wii's sales.

If that is the point of the thread, you really should wait one more year.

BEtter than expected? Suda 51 was dissapointed with the sales of No More Heroes. And Zack and Wiki regardless of selling "better than expected" still didn't sell that much.

There are not many ambitious third party games that sold on the Wii. Largely just rehashes and mini game collections.

Was considered a mere expansion pack, yet rated 8.7 on GS

Same for this title, yet rated 8.5 here

And trust me, I hate some of the tactics of the other groups, like after MGS4 got a 10 here, lems whined and said that we should use GameRankings instead of GS.

I own it and enjoy it with my family. I would say that if someone does not have young kids this is not the game for them. Anyone with a family of kids under 10 this is a great game and I would recommend it.

You'd be surprised just how many people buy "bad" games -- the most obvious one that comes to mind is 50 cents' game.
