Averages are more likely to reflect a more realistic score. For example if you have 5 sites and they list it 7 .. 7 .. 7 .. 9 .. What do you think the most accurate score is?

Despite the fact that some games are scored too low or too great, there should be enough good quality games on a system to bring up at least 10 8/10 titles, regardless of the 2 or 3 that deserved a 8 but receive d a 7.

Reviews may not be perfect for scoring individual games, but they are great for scoring how many good games a system has. A system is always going to have unappreciated games, not just the wii.

I think whats more telling is to find games that score above an 8.5. Alhtough it was limited to this website, the 1st 2 years of the PS2 and the 1st two years of the wii were compared in regards to games that scored above 8.5.

Wii had 4. PS2 had 13.

I've found that there are differences in the way that different extreme fanbases act. Nintendo ignorant, Sony arrogant, and Microsoft ... just ... ridiculous. Thats just the worst fanboys of each crop though, im not saying thats true of the majority or anything.

Yeah i agree with what you somewhat. Nintendo fanboys don't really seem to have a clue, sony fanboys are just plain arrogant and annoying, and lemms are the most over the top and hatefull.
