I love that Sony has stable of studios devoted to making PlayStation exclusives. Same for Nintendo.

Well yeah, it's annoying because they only keep them exclusive to sell hardware. I get obviously, but my pc could run them far better than the consoles anyway, so it kinda sucks.

@cainetao11: These lunatics need to realize that their most precious Sony is equally responsible for diluting the word "exclusive" this generation. It is all about "not on Xbox" that matters to them now.

Microsoft is a very open company, they allow their apps on other systems like Android and iOS, and they get billions of dollars in royalties from Google. They also allow you to integrate Google contacts etc. with your Windows Phone but Google blocks some functionality for Microsoft.

Same with Minecraft. They didn't make it exclusive, they'll make crapload more money off royalties. The same case for shared PC / X1 games - they'll get more money.

Sony for being naive wannabe messiahs with buying third party exclusives last Gen nearly bankrupted.

I don't play games because they are exclusive, I play games that I enjoy and sometimes ones I don't but thought I would. I'd happily see every single PC exclusive game on console (as long as they weren't simplified for bro gamers). If all PC exclusives were on console, they'd sell more copies, the developers would make more money and we'd get more and better games. Consumers win.

Sony, Nintendo and MS will always have exclusive games, they need them to sell consoles. What really fucks my brain is dumb people wanting and even demanding games be exclusive to any individual system and getting pissed off and even threatening when they are not, that is totally anti-consumer and asking to be but fucked by an multinational company.

@Salt_The_Fries: it is the traditional way of console gaming. I hear these people that really take this true exclusive shit tell me "it's not like ms makes money from pc gaming". But in the games TC brought up to me, they certainly are. MS is publishing sea of thieves and gears remastered. So what does it really come down to? You don't want to buy an Xbox one to play games not on ps4? Great! Don't. But just because it is on pc doesn't mean every pc can run it. I'll play with the honorable friends of the U.S. military on live.

I love how some Sony fanboys downplay Xbox's backward compatibility. As a PC Gamer who plays old games a lot, I think it's absolutely brilliant feature. Put fanboism aside for once and praise what's good,,, and who knows, you may get one too. As for exclusives,,, both platforms have very few good exclusives at this point, that's why PS4 is also known as BloodborneStation. Xbox will get heavy hitter, Halo 5 later this year and then more exclusives next year. PS4 will also get great exclusives next year.

@ProtossX: Wii U is best offline console also. Time for them soldiers to get down on some Smash, Splatoon, and Mario Kart. Although Xbox is an American company so that better be all them be playing or Uncle Sam come out and whoop some arse.

Well on PC old games run even better the games aren't emulated.

Have you ever tried to run a n64 emulator on a low end PC?

Imagine Xbone trying to emulate 360 same kinda deal 10 fps frame skipping stuttering and the works what is the point of playing old games if they run worse it shouldn't even make sense to a PC gamer to ever do that.

@ProtossX: I'm not always online on my X1. So? I didn't serve in the marine corps, I was a dog face, a green man, an old military, in other words U.S. army. And some like Foxbat, Salt_the_Fries can meet good, hard working vets and active duty army that are thankful MS gave a crap in the war in Iraq and sent 360s free of charge for rec rooms in fobs. None of us hate Nintendo or Sony for not doing so. We aren't their men at war. So we respect and enjoy, and the few who are enthusiastic about games, like me buy a PS console also.

At the end of the day, I will always go with who took care of mine first.

From my point of view Xbox has the games.During E3 Cows claimed victory on the back of PC mutiplats...flip flopping again.

There's no way in hell Im buying a PS4 for true exclusives like Killzone,Knack or 5 club.

PC sales are twice as high as XB1 right and PS4 is beating them both

Microsoft has never really been known for keeping their games exclusive though. Even games they published ended up on the PS3 last gen. Is it good for X1 owners, maybe not, but it isn't surprising.

Where is this info youre getting and no I don't think its hurting MS selling games across two platforms.I think its good for their business overall and as for you pushing the PS4 I'll take MS exclusives and the PC multiplats over Sony's true exclusives like Killzone,Knack and 5club any day.I think the PS4 is a terrible choice.

It outsold the Wiiu because the wiiu won't get a majority of the multiplats or the xbox franchises that some people like.

I can say the same about WiiU. I don't give a rat's balls for donkey Kong, another 2d Mario, kart, etc. I would rather **** a sack of dried rice than play starfox. Xbox(Microsoft) is known for not having a bunch of first party developers. Their console exclusives hardly ever last, and it's something that became very obvious with the 360. And it continues with the X1.

Timed exclusives and games sharing with PC is how this platform rolls.

And the PS4 has........Bloodborne.

Both consoles are mediocre in terms of their exclusives.

PC has exponentially more exclusives than any one system, especially PS4. Metacritic and Gamespot scores reflect this.
