Whats really backwards is its only a valid argument in system wars due to the terminology constraint on the word exclusive. Which means to exclude. MS has exclusives for 2 platforms that exclude other platforms. Thats how the real world looks at it. And to sit here and say xbox is worse for it is totally stupid since it has games that ps4 and wii u do not have... and for people that don't own multiple systems its a great benefit. And the amount of crossover between PC,ps4,xone is like 90% of the games that come out (except on pc, the console games make up like 3% of its library), the only real right way to do it, is buy a PC, and a wii u. If you don't like PC, swap it out with either a xbox or ps4 depending on your exclusive preference.

Xbox and ps4 are pretty interchangeable but both worth the asking price.

MS are the authors of all their own problems, they proved that right at the beginning of the gen by fucking up completely with the most hilarious PR disaster of any console launch. Now they are giving all their Xbox One exclusives to PC which is great for PC gamers who now get the message from MS that they will never need to buy an Xbox One for any reason. Spencer has even said more Halo games (yep Halo, the only reason for owning an Xbox One as all multiplats are better on PS4) may come to PC as the franchise has a legacy there. Staggering stupidity.

@waahahah: it's amazing how ignorant of the truth some are isn't it? If something excludes even one of a potential audience, it is by definition exclusive to those it includes. SW does not equal real world.

@-God-: Yes because I am referring exclusively to PlayStation 4. By the end of the generation there will be more big budget PlayStation 4 exclusives than PC in the same time frame. Consoles are getting a lot of the indies now too so that isn't even much of an advantage.

1. Indy or not, pc has the most 8.0 and above exclusives by far. As far as upcomming exclusives go, PS4's list is a drop in the pond compared to PC. Your comment made no sense.

2. On the subject of big budget exclusives (not even sure why that matters), your prediction doesn't seem so certain. Most of the big budget Sony games have flopped so far, and Blood Borne is hardly big budget. I don't see it having more by the end. Again I'm not sure how budget matters when PS4's best games are lower budget, and all the big expensive ones have flopped miserably.

I have NEVER seen console only gamers cry for port of PC exclusive like PC only gamers did with Bloodborne.

I like PC gaming, but their exclusives are crap compared to consoles. PC is for playing the best version of multiplats as far as I'm concerned. 5 Nights At Freddy's is 4 exclusives for PC. That isnt quality.

@mems_1224: I have no idea what 2 games you are talking about, but PS3 exclusives were very well represented in my favorite games of last gen.

The PS4 by the end of this year is going to have 1 good (admittedly great) exclusive in Bloodborne. The WiiU in 3 years has one great game to show for itself.

It's a united effort by all 3 consoles to make this one of the lamest console gens so far.

I actually picked up a 2nd hand '360 E' about a month ago and it's great. How MS went from that to this, makes no sense.

Sticking to last gen consoles till the end of this year , but since i won't buy the mandatory online sub , it has to have a lot of SP games.

yeah, i tried it, it was really bad, even worse than the first horizon. the physics are massively different too, FH2 on X1 runs on F5 engine and FH2 on 360 runs on horizon 1 engine. oh, and no tuning. but cows: butbutbut it's last gen

Yeah, I didn't sign up for this. Unless they're stupid, they must know. They abandoned Kinect, so now the hardware is weak for nothing, which would be okay, the PS1 was weaker as well. But there's not enough exclusives to compensate.

I think the PS4 is in a bit of a better situation, but not as much as it's made out. They have some potential megatons upcoming, but there's less of a thunder with them also coming out on the PC.

Console hardware doesn't even matter. They used to be about exclusives.

90% of games will be on Xbox One and PC going forward and I think it should be 100%. The platform is coming together, you will even be able to buy a game once and play it on PC and Xbox One.

The landscape is changing, System wars needs to catch up. You have a choice

To play xbox one/pc games buy an Xbox One or PC, this is how it should be. If you want an easy to use plug and play cheap system buy an Xbox One if you want a harder to put together, trickier to use with a controller, but gives you more options buy a PC. This wont affect the Xbox One to much and Microsoft make money either way (unified store).

to play PS4 games buy a PS4

to play Wii u games buy a wii u.

Did the Xbox 360 have a 90% ratio of exclusives on the PC? I do think you'll see a higher amount of exclusives going to the PC compared to last gen but it's not going to be 90%.

I'm sure they would like to have it but it's really not a killer feature.

I think 100% of Microsoft Exclusives will go to PC via the Microsoft store, there maybe a delay between it coming to one then the other. It will take time but I believe that's the vision they have. Time will tell.

This is how I feel about it. Nintendo really missed an opportunity by nerfing the WiiU. A decently powered Nintendo console would have left little reason to own XO/PS4.

No dude, it's not going to happen. If Microsoft is going to leave consoles then sure but it doesn't make sense to not have an exclusives for your console.

Number 4 I think you meant PS3...not PS4. That console is in lead since launch. However it stands to reason the 360 would lead as it came out one year ahead of the PS3. In the end.....the best scenario was a tie for the 360. If you guys want to argue sales at least be honest about them.

All I owned all last was a Xbox 360, the only exclusive games I ever bought were Gears of War 1 and a couple Halo games (that were used games).

Every other game I had was multiplats, COD, Madden, Rainbow 6, Fallout, ect....

As for this gen only exclusive I have Sunset Overdrive. The rest are COD, Titanfall, Mortal Kombat, ect... I will probably get Halo 5 but idk when. I will def be getting COD:BO3, Rb6:Seige, and Doom.

And the same would be true if I only had a PS3 last gen or a PS4 now. all Multiplats maybe 1 or 2 exclusive game.

Oh , trust me , it's a thin line between getting a console or a PC , my laptop can't handle The Witcher 3 on mid.
