Should I Get Killzone 2 or Gears 2?

I'm either gonna get Killzone 2 or Gears of War 2 next... Which one do you guys think I should get first? Or if you don't think either of them are very good, then what game should I get next? And I'm looking for an action/adventure or a shooter.

Have you played Gears 1? If so, you may aswell go gears 2.

Both are good games, I guess it's just which one is more enticing to you.

I found Gears 2 to be way more addicting than KZ2, so yeah. KZ2 wasnt bad from what Ive played though, pretty much a very nice looking standard FPS..

Go with the popular opinion, Gears Of War 2.

I'd go with Gears 2, as I'm still playing it (Horde is fun every now and then) and not so much KZ2 anymore. Nonetheless, you must get both in the long run, loved it the first time I finished the campaign and multiplayer is good too, but more conventional (kind of a COD4 in the future).

...and do yourself a favor, check to see what the people supporting killzone 2 have posted in other blogs. there is a system bias.

Get both just incase.

Rent both...and save money to buy Infamous :D

I'd take Killzone 2, then again I'm biased as I really didn't like Gears 2.

Gears 2 has a more involving single player (although the story sucks... but what action FPS doesn't?)... I'd get Gears 2 if you want a good single-player experience and KZ2 if you want a strong multiplayer experience. Gears 2 was a great game... but it's been collecting dust now that I'm done with it. The multi just isn't that good with Gears 2.

If you already have Gears then I would go with Killzone 2, but they're both really good(or so I've heard)

I didn't really get hooked with either of those games online portion, but KZ2 does have a functioning online play...not sure if Gears 2 has been fixed, don't have XBLG to test it out.

Gears 2 First and not because its the better game??? but because after you play KILLZONE 2all other games will become dull and boring compared to it!!!:? JK both are GREAT!!! flip a coin and go from there you NEED!!! BOTH!!!;)

The fact that you were here 9 years ago, and have done nothing but create alternate accounts, leads me to believe you have quite the boring life. If you have the spare time to keep creating these accounts.

1. Agreed, only a few topics are worth posting in. Trust me, if I want attention, it wouldn't be from a random person over the internet ;) Thanks though.

2. Those 30 seconds must add up, having to create new e-mail accts for every one.

3. The mod is a mod. Doesn't matter when they started. Banned posters aren't allowed alt accounts.

4. I don't really lack a life. I go to uni, work full time, play 3 sports, and coach 2. So yeah, I have no life :?

Killzone 2 has better multiplayer IMO.
